You know, size isn't everything that matters... how you use what you have is much more important.
The only people who say this sort of thing is those who don't have it in the first place
This case is no exception.

I am surprised and happy to see we got something for MP in 2014. I figured they would wait until mid-January before the first MP update. I love idea of the chaos and randomness that the neutral creatures will bring to the games. We'll see how much I like it when I get a chance to play some MP.

I confess, mine is only 13 MB ![]()
They also said Giants as roamable beasts. Also, while it's not the most extensive expansion, it's AT LEAST a sign that they're moving into adding content.
Just ran into a giant. They are indeed added.
Seems to have cred xbox1. Well over half my games have ended being unable to open doors.
yeah just like me

Off-Topic. Just noticed your avatar. LOL!!!
1st game on new awesome free marvelous content: 1st stage key-not-showing-after-killing-everything bug.
I just don't get how ppl can be happy about this kind of stuff. Are u buying all versions of Sims 3 and u'r happy that Sims 4 have NOTHING from them? EA will just refresh sims 3 DLC's for another 500€ from every stupid little girl (or rather her parents).
Are u happy that developers spent HOURS/DAYS/WEEKS/YEARS/CENTURIES thinking about what to cut from game? If they bothered to cut such a small irrelevant thing as someone said "to keep dlc's coming and get attention in social media" what else they cut? Another 50€ 1h crappy gameplay? And just don't try to say it wasn't prepared at least 1 month before realase. Just don't even try to justify such a bs.
And nope, i won't shut up and just swallow all that yogurt they want me to drink. Nope. It's not "free content". I spent 60€ on it already and they delivered me it with 2weeks delay.
We'll get a new stage thats different from the other ones that we could find our way out of in our sleep by now, aswell - if I understand it correctly. Not a new map but a new stage for each map.
...
Huh? I haven't found my way out yet. ![]()

...why would they cut things they intended to give away for free?
You don't think it's likely that it wasn't ready for release yet, so it wasn't included at launch?
And even it it was ready and they did cut it... IT IS STILL FREE. So who cares?
You're ranting about them cutting stuff to make money on it, yet they haven't shown any sign of doing that with DA:I. You're just digging for a reason to be upset.

Not that I necessarily agree with who you are quoting, but jesus christ, are you actually defending that practice? Not that I think bioware did that, since the MP as a whole barely functions as it is, how could they have had time to finish content when even the base MP isn't finished yet, but still, thats some insane mental gymnastics you managed to pull off there if that thought legitimately came out of your head unhindered.
To be clear, I think this (small) content update is really neat and shows good initiative! That doesn't mean the MP is perfect and not rife with problems still.

I guess this depends about what point of view you have.
I was raised to be grateful with what I have, and enjoy what I got, rather than lament what I did not get. As I see it, I bought a game for a certain price that promised me nothing more than what was availible at the time, and I happily bought it because it has been a very enjoyable experience, making me feel like it was worth the investment. With that in mind, I do not feel entitled to anything, nor am I going to complain about the free additions and stuff given to me is "underwhelming", "dissappointing" or "lackluster". Heck, 36 hours ago, I was happy about Multiplayer and I was looking forward to future updates and additions. Now, I am just as happy apart from those times I run around the corner and "SURPRISE, NINJA GIANT!
", but there is more stuff to have fun with and more variation.
I guess it all depends on how you are raised, your mentality and point of view. Some people are greedy, selfish and unsatiable whiners who has the mindset of a kid complaining about their Birthday gifts or Christmas presents, just because they felt their parents were cheap. It seems you share this point of view, which in all fairness, says more about you than BioWare as a developer. ![]()
Someone really needs to call the waaahmbulance for all the hurting butts in this thread. Its free content. I wasn't even expecting additional content so soon.

I expected it because without it the MP would have continued its decline, I just didn't expect it without an announcement...though I still haven't gotten a chance to try it out yet as I play on PS4 and to my knowledge it still isn't available yet(?). What EXACTLY is the new content? I've heard reports that the various map layouts are still the same while others say that there are indeed new layouts. Does the wildlife count as a new "faction" or do they merely just pop up during regular play? If the latter, does it happen every game? Or is it *gasp* random?

They are pretty much just randomly generated mobs popping up. I just did a solo run through Tevinter Ruins to get the last experience needed on my hunter to get level 20 (was 2-3 thousand experience away). Got queued against Red Templars. There were usual waves, and then there would be a lot of waves of wildlife like Deepstalkers, Mabari, some other stuff and a Giant as well. These wildlife were pretty much attacking everything in sight, and the Red Templar group I was about to fight, had to fight the Giant first, so I could stand at a distance and pick off everything.
It is pretty fun since it adds to the randomness. It seems to be in more or less every game thus far, but to varying degrees. Some games have had just a few mobs, and other ones like my solo run, had tons.
It is pretty random. That said, the Tevinter Map I did was a new one, and it seems like all the zones were new and pretty cool. Refreshing change, really. I mean, it is just a new variation of the same map, but it felt fresh, looked different and gave me the "Hmm, cool. Wonder where the secret doors are" feeling. I am sure the magic will vanish once I have run this variation 10 times, and I have killed tons of wildlife, but it spices up the mode. ![]()
That sounds pretty cool, definitely can't wait to try this out then.

My best advice is for you to not expect too much out of it, but just experience it as it is. I had no expectations going in, and I enjoy it. It is not a big change, but it is additional variety which I find to be refreshing. ![]()
I am just a bit baffled by Bioware not announcing the new DLC on its own forum. I mean it is doing it through twitch, twitter and other gaming sites, but just not BSN. What are they so afraid of on BSN......., oh, wait....., I think I know.

Applicable to much of life in general. A wise young grasshoppa are you.
Do you get XP if they kill each other?
