Do you get XP if they kill each other?
No idea, but is not experience generated according to kill participation? Seems like it would not be granted to the party, if no one actually hits the dying mobs.
As for wildlife jumping unwary adventurers... You might hate Quillbacks, but those Ninja Giants must have skilled Stealth with an additional point in Lost in the Shadows.

Seems to have wrecked xbox1. Well over half my games have ended being unable to open doors.
I play on PC and I have the same with -every- game eversince this extension. I couldn't finish a single one since I played.
But the giant was cool to fight.
Usually it happens to remain one of the new added monsters that simply can not be killed, that seems to be causing my issues.
Not that I necessarily agree with who you are quoting, but jesus christ, are you actually defending that practice? Not that I think bioware did that, since the MP as a whole barely functions as it is, how could they have had time to finish content when even the base MP isn't finished yet, but still, thats some insane mental gymnastics you managed to pull off there if that thought legitimately came out of your head unhindered.
To be clear, I think this (small) content update is really neat and shows good initiative! That doesn't mean the MP is perfect and not rife with problems still.
What mental gymnastics are required to not be upset about what they do with the content they developed, so long as they aren't charging me for it?

I am just a bit baffled by Bioware not announcing the new DLC on its own forum. I mean it is doing it through twitch, twitter and other gaming sites, but just not BSN. What are they so afraid of on BSN......., oh, wait....., I think I know.
I don't recall them ever announcing MP DLCs on BSN. Not any of the ME3 ones got announcement officially, I don't believe. Just BioWare's usual channels (blog, Twitter, even trailer videos on YouTube) and fans end up cross-posting it here.
So, I do not find it surprising.

It's very easy for people to not know that there are patches they have to download or even how to download them and end up seeing no one in MP. This same problem is true of ME3MP. Someone trying to go through google, EA website, or origins website to get the "expansion" will spend all their time in vain, because as far as I know, it is only accessible through origins software.
Just in case people don't know, to get the "expansion" on PC, right click your dragon age inquisition box art in origins software, click "View Game Details", scroll down, purchase the expansion for 0.00, download.

They added a few animals on each map, didn't do any playtesting (everyone is getting stuck because of immortal animals or animals dying after normal mobs), and called it an expansion. This deserves to be put in the Guinness Book of World Records for smallest DLC and minimal effort DLC if they consider it one of the five free DLC's they will give us over a one year period.

U can do nothing when at the end of 4th stage u kill all normal mobs just to get wave of 10-12 wolves. U have to kill animal as last minion and loose all XP and patience.
LOVE IT!!! Hotfix incoming in month, can we predict what bug will be then? I guess that killing a goldpot will occur in Error 404.

So go Bioware for not bothering to ****** test this ****. Cant finish a map in MP because, guess what, THE DAMN DOORS WONT OPEN WHEN YOU HAVE CLEARED THE MAP.

There is more than just added animals. There is an entirely new armor set for each class, every area has been altered and added too, and drop rates seem to be much better. Also, why all of the whining over free DLC? It's FREE!!
