Wait, people have gotten altered maps? I keep getting the same setups and absolutely nothing new. Sometimes there will be a phoenix creature, or a hyena, or what have you. But that's about it...

Oooooh so this is why scrubs keep showing up in my lobby. I don't have the DLC installed. LOL

Actually, none of them where technically mandatory in  ME3.  You just couldn't find any matches because you where one of a whole 3 people playing the game who didn't have them installed.

Also I would add that uninstalling the DLCs (or mixing them around) allowed you to rig RNG to limit which chest drops you got. I would expect the same trick to work with DAMP. Just throwing that out there. No need to go spreading it around.

On ps4 you can't even uninstall the dlc. So...hopefully it downloaded correctly the first time. I have no idea why they don't give you the option. (Yeah, you could redownload it IF you delete the game itself...but you also have to download ALL your dlc with it).

If PS4 allows you to install DLCs to usb then you can snatch the usb out of the drive (at least you can for Xbox 360). The only way I could see not being able to get around that is if they forced you to re-download once you started the game again.

Yes there are indeed new areas. It actually changes the whole map so every of the 5 rooms is new. The burning village one is beautiful. As in the main game, the artists are doing a great job so far!

I havent seen anything besides a few anjmals on pc. And the download was very small, definitely not 700mb

On PS4, maybe I am just lucky but I have played at least 15 matches to completion, and definitely killed some animals last in a stage.

Cringed everytime yet the key dropped. Would be interested if anyone has video evidence of this bug on PS4.

I downloaded it on the PS3 last night. it was only 255mb. I played my first match okay to completion. Saw some new animals, but nothing else. Second game had party selected but never loaded to start the match. Had to exit the game.

I was actually under the impression that the DLC would auto download and install also. Last night my friends and I ran numerous instances when we could have been running the DLC......DOH!

I had pretty good luck as well last night, only 1 of 12 matches I couldn't complete dude to key glitch.

Also killing the animals last isn't always the trigger on ps4. I played more than few zones where a wolf, mabari or a Deepstalker was killed last and they did drop a key.

The craptastic RNG? Yea, still shitty.

I just went to the store and searched for Dragon Age. It's one of the results.

Not sure how Live is set up for the One, but I had to dig to find it on PS4. The PSN Store is just about useless for finding anything except full games for download anymore these days. A pity. It was so much better and user-friendly before they decided it needed to be flashier (and slower because "flashier").

 

PS4 has a way where I highlight my game icon and press down on the directional pad (instead of X to start the game), and there's an option that says something like "Extras". When I chose that, it showed the DLC I had already downloaded (my preorder bonus stuff) and also showed the Destruction Pack with a little "new" symbol and I could download and install it straight from there.

 

I say all this to say perhaps mucking around with your game tiles area instead of the store itself might help you find it?

It isn't an automatic update you need you manually download the expansion pack if you haven't done so. I have yet to see a game with no animals in it, scarce when i play a map with demons on it though.

I'll be honest, I don't see the point in adding wild animals to the game in this manner.  Maybe if there were a side objective that required saving a group of NPCs or finding a den that contains a chest it would make a little sense, but why are they just randomly placed in the mission?  Again, I think the idea of neutral enemies is fun but just like Far Cry you should be able to lure them into the fight, not having them spawn directly in the existing areas.  Worse yet, the enemies are still very spread out and there are a lot of empty spaces in each level.  It's not a dungeon crawler so much as a corridor (briskly) walker interrupted by the occasional fight.

 

The game needs traps, ambushes, reinforcements (like on wave 5), actual enemy formations with shield walls supported by archers and mages, etc.  Having enemies just loiter in the rooms waiting to be attacked despite having fights just a room away is silly.  I mean it's not like the hard stone walls are insulated and prevent sound from carrying.  Without objectives forcing you into uncomfortable situations the game is far too predictable once you know the layout.  I certainly see the potential in DAMP but it has a long, long way to do before it delivers on it.

You can also access it on the PS4 by simply pressing down from the Dragon Age icon on the main screen.  It will be listed under Add-ons (2).

Pressing down doesn't give me a add ons option. Searched it on the store and nothing. Is this out in the UK yet?
