Sorry if this has been answered, but I notice my spells Thousand Cuts and Mark of the Rift have "tiers". I yet to get these skills to tier 2 yet alone 3. I know it's the 3 bars on my screen, only one has ever filled to full. What do I need to do to get the next tiers?

Is it's just something that happens by playing the game more?

Question. Did you unlock the other two focus perks from Cullen? If you haven't then you cannot acquire the extra Focus meter to access the other two tier levels from that respective skill.

I don't think I've gotten anything from Cullen about focus perks. I'll have to go talk to him again and see what he has to say.

Yeah, without those two perks you'll always only have access to Lv.1 tier Focus.

Yeah he isn't giving me anything that unlocking what you are saying. I guess I may need to do more story or something?

No, it should be there once you've unlocked your Lv.1 Focus which you get by progressing the story. This is what they're called.

Advanced Focus

Increase Maximum Focus from 100 to 200. Second Tier Focus Effect for abilities can be triggered.

Requires 4 Points in category

Master Focus

Increase Maximum Focus from 200 to 300. Third-Tier Focus effect for abilities can now be triggered

Requires Advanced Focus

Keep in mind that you need 4 points in Forces Perks, if not they'll have a lock icon next to them. If they still aren't there then I can only assume that you need to unlock more story content? But that would be odd.

They're war table perks in case you're confused. They're under forces I'm pretty sure.

They should be on the perks at the war table even before you have access to focus abilities. TBH I never unlocked them anyway, I'm not a big fan of the focus abilities.
