There's an upgrade for "Revival" under the Mage Spirit tree called "Life Ward". The description is :"Spirits now protect your allies for a short time, reducing incoming damage and reviving them if they fall unconscious." It doesn't seem to do anything. Any ideas?

Well if it's anything like the amulet you can equip it revives you automatically if you fall during combat, and it will revive you with a certain amount of HP (So baiscally you don't have to recast Revival again if you're character dies again after you've already used it). The other half of that passive is the Damage Resistance which will reduce all incoming damage on that character by 25%.

If it's not reviving your character I assume the passive is bugged? Have you tested it?

I thought it automatically revives fallen allies instead of casting Revival. I tested that and it did nothing. So you're saying what it will do is revive a fallen ally if they die AGAIN after being revived?

Yes, correct. It's a passive skill that is attached to Revival. So only when you cast Revival on an already dead ally will that passive take effect. You'll know that the effect is active because you'll see two green wings behind the character.
