Seriously.  My God, Vivienne is just awful.  I've never hated a so-called ally in a game as much as I do Vivienne.  Hell, I very rarely hate the villains half as much.  After seeing Sera's reaction to a Dalish Inquisitor after Mythal's temple or the end of Solas romance, I thought for sure no one would ever top her.  Slowly but surely, Vivienne does.  And at least Sera means well, even if she's...  whatever she is.  Vivienne is just a self-serving <insert any banned word here>.  She is completely without redeeming qualities in my eyes.  Not a single one.  It's ironic that she's so pro-Circle, because she'd fit right in at the Tevinter Imperium.  Every terrible thing Dorian says about the most powerful magisters, almost always reminds me of Vivienne.

 

True. Vivienne' May sound like she knows everything but the truth is, she is just ignorant and a bully. If you don't kiss her ass, then your beneath her. When she told my Inquisitor she was envious I walked in The Fade, I face palmed-literally. Such a hypocrite.

 

Hey by all means Viv, have Templars around to watch Mages, but don't tell me that its OK for Mages to be used as entertainment.

In my final playthrough I played a human female warrior who believed she was the Herald, sided with the templars, wanted to restore the circle and Vivienne was my bestie, LOL.  Loved her in that... in my two other playthroughs (Qunari was all about freedom - if some mages wanted a circle they should have the circle, but for those mages who didn't they shouldn't be forced into the circle; and then an elf mage who was all about the circle being unnecessary) I loathed Vivienne.

I'd be interested where there any out there who played a someone who was all about Andraste and "Human priviledge" who didn't like how she responded to your character?  Or is the loathing of Viv on here simply general and there is no way you'd ever like her period?

Pissing off Vivienne is the best, in my non-canon insanity run I was BFFs with her because we both talked **** about the rest of the companions. When she wanted the "Heart of Snow White" I gave her the common Wyvern heart instead and watched her bae die, after that she found out I purposely gave her the wrong heart and she demanded to know why... I chose the "Because I hate you" option and laughed hysterically for an hour straight.

Funny thing is he dies either way so our choices are irrelevant in that, but at least you got to insult her.

I was wondering what happened if you give her the normal heart. Now since I know I am going to do that this time around.

I'm surprised they didn't hit you back tbh. Pretty sure Solas, Vivienne and Dorian could kick the Inquisitor's ass particularly if you're not a mage. :>
