I don't know if this is a spoiler or
not but does anyone know what is needed to get anything except a
Rogue to pick locks? What do I need to get a warrior or caster to
pick a lock?
Thanks in advance.

I think only rogues get lockpicking..and as id posted before, you miss out on a TON of chests if you dont bring a rogue..like the rogue/cleric from lothering.

Lockpicking is a Rogue-specific Talent under the Rogue tree (kinda like warriors have the warrior tree)

Yeah bring a rogue, as an FYI though your party members usually won't have sufficient lock picking skills unless you level it up. (Zevran doesn't even have it by default)

Yeah, it's pretty horrible. You miss out on a massive amount of money and items if you don't have a Rogue.

They are definitely required.

Not sure how robust the toolset is but maybe someone will be able to make a skeleton key.

I have read other messages that a Fully upgraded Lockpicking Rogue can't even open some of these chest.

Something seems wrong.

Even with the Lockpicking skill maxed out, it also depends on your Cunning score. Says so in the skill description. If they still can't open the locks with maxed lockpicking, then maybe they need to increase their Cunning.
