Mass Effect 3. I have never seen a game ending impact it's community like Mass Effect 3.
Yes, and they enjoyed its impact about as much as the citizens of Hiroshima and Nagasaki enjoyed the impact from Little Boy and Fat Man.
ME3's ending is the diametric opposite of god tier. It is satan tier.

Halo 3
This game literally nailed how you end a video game trilogy. Epic final gameplay segment, amazing music, conclusion to all the conflicts in the story, closure with all surviving characters, and a little cliffhanger at the end that can set up for a possible sequel.
