I didn't pay much attention to the run animation until this thread. It doesn't feel as pronounced as DA2 and yet, there's definitely a hinge in the hips. Still, I can live with it. But I'm not letting go of that horrible, slouchy, shuffling walk animation our inquisitors do in cut scenes. It's jarring to me.

actually a lot of times I feel like they walk a little bent over like chimps. makes me laugh once in a while. "here is the herald of andraste" and she is a little hunched over like an ape or something. :-)
