Did anyone else expect the ending to be in the fade?

For some reason as I got closer to the ending I kept envisioning it being in the fade as you try to catch Corypheus before he can reach the black city....maybe that would be a dumb hollywood movie type ending, but I thought it would have been epic.

Well done OP.

What does it take to keep spoilers out of the title?

Not very much effort.

Fail.

How is that a spoiler in any way? That the fade exists? Expecting something could either be it did or didn't happen...so the only thing I could be spoilering is that the ending could possibly be in the fade?

No spoiler... since it's not what happening.

I actually like OP's idea, since it can give more meat to the main story. How about if "The Breach Or Whatever It Is Can Only Be Closed From The Fade" or "Cut Off the Fade Forever From The World  but Corypheus Must Be Defetead In The Fade"? It'll force something close to DA:O's Ultimate Sacrifice. (And I love Ultimate Sacrifice...). It gives a sense of something urgent, something dire.

what are you talking about, it did end in the fade... just off screen...  Why do you think the inquisitor sent corypheus into the fade?  (presuming he didnt kill him with the blast)  So stroud, alistair, loghain or hawke could be there to get a few shots in to finish corypheus... we just dont get that cutscene

I think he mean....he was hoping we go trough an eluvian and chase him in the fade and we get a glimpse of the black city or something . Wich would make sense , I'm surprised we didnt get zapped there in the final battle . Ya would think coryphishit would find a battle ground that help him..instead of some floating rock or city lol
