So, I just got finished with the mission where you hunt down Carroll -- you may remember him as the Templar at the Ferelden Circle who had taken you across the lake when you first arrived, and apparently had a bad lyrium addiction problem -- and kill him.

First: it was a bit saddening to me to see how far he has fallen. Yea, he was a pretty bad addict but he didn't seem like a bad guy overall. But at the same time it was interesting to see someone we encountered in Origins and finding out what happened to them.

Second: Seeing him got me thinking, what happened to Irving and Greagoir? Assuming of course you didn't kill Irving.

I know book lore(read all the novels) concerning Irving, but we're going to ignore that.

Were they at the Conclave?... MAKER NO!

According to the toolset, which is known to be off anyway, but still, it's a guideline, in Origins Irving is 70.  Which would put him at 80, and way past when he should be alive in a medieval setting anyway, even with magic.  Going to go out on a limb here and say he's dead.  Even if he survived the events that led to the initial rebellion, most likely he was at the conclave.

Gregoir would have been around 60 when the templars broke from the chantry.  I can't see him being a red templar, but I can see him as being one of the few voices of reason in the order.  Which means, since he isn't with the Inquisition, he either retired to Val Royeaux, died at the conclave or he's dead along with the other good templars who died during the chaos.
