I'm playing on nightmare after hearing all these "knight enchanters are overpowered" posts all over the forum...
Even with spirit blade + fade shield + max barrier/upgrades, enemies can still break through quite easily.
One suggestion I would agree with is that the base damage should be reduced and combo detonation re-enabled to encourage more abilities rather than spamming. That would be more fun to play as well. The projectile deflection is great fun though, Arcane Horrors end up killing themselves against my "Jedi" mage.
