I hope it's just a rumor :( I'm an elder scrolls fan but playing ESO was so incredibly boring to me (like every MMO other than SWtOR) I had to force myself to play for even an hour at a time (because I was begged by a friend) but after maybe 5 hours total I canceled my subscription. Worst $60 I've ever spent :/

Honey, I highly highly doubt it's gonna be an MMO.

I'm assuming SWTOR was terrible at launch? I've been playing it with a group of friends who all loved KOTOR 1 and 2, and we've been having a fun time.

It really wasn't. Some people just had weirdly inflated expectations. I never liked an mmo before and it not only had me hooked, it kept me so

Well if you look at the whole focus on needless excessive crafting, grinding for good loot that will never come, or the mounts, then I can see why this would be compared to an MMO.

The fact that you can craft the best loot in the game is a plus, not a minus, the mounts are entirely unneccesary and you don't HAVE to spend time on it at all, and you don't HAVR to do the open world content for the most part. There's an awful lot of knicker twisting on the forum over what is mostly optional content

ARE YOU SERIOUS?! Is it the Revan one?! I stopped playing because I wanted more class content and the one time I don't buy the expansion it has the thing I want?! GAH!

There's a class sidequest. It's not long, they were testing the idea of adding class content into shared storylines to see how feasible it was and how it would go over. They brought back Alexander Freed (agent story) to write those side quests. If you get the idea it's a new chapter, you'll be disappointed. Take it as a nice addition to a fun expansion, and you're good to go.

(sorry for the string of posts, lol)

There wouldn't be a DA4, there will be Dragon Age the Old Tevinter MMO which is so big that it will cover DA 4,5, and 6.

See, I wouldn't have a problem with that at all, if the present continued in single player. I'd buy it, for sure, lol.

I hope Tevinter is gray like White Thedas.

Oh, I would love a Tevinter-based DA, but only if it was a single player game.  After all, Arlathan was near Tevinter and ancient elf lore is my

It means that Southern Andrastians are afforded diversity in their expressed beliefs. I wish the same for Tevinter. Dorian and friends seem to be an indication of that but I remain skeptical that the main plot will not be centered around 'mages are bad', if we are to venture there.

I can think of other games who went from a focused story to open world, the Arkham series come to mind ( great games if you havent tried them ), so doing the latter doesnt necessarily mean there is an MMO on the horizon.

I wouldnt mind a DA MMO personally but not now perhaps after dragon age 5.

I would actually mind if it did do the mmo. I was never a fan of mmo game. I love the elder scroll series but the mmo feature for the elder scroll online deter me from buying it for many reason. I love single player game as I tend to like to do thing at my own pace and I'm a loot hoard so I will stop in the middle of a fight to loot so that would not work for mmo. Moreover, I'm a cheap so I do want to keep paying for a game when I already pay for it once.

I don't want to pay a subscription. And plus I'm on console.
