Swinging this back more onto the intended topic...
Here's something I learned: Don't ask where a popular returning character is in BioWare games.
Cue me going, "Oh sh*t" for about the next 20 minutes when I realized what had happened. That'll teach me to get too curious about where a returning character is in a BW game. ![]()

I think there is a fine line between criticism and vitriol...a line this forum hasn't walked very well. Almost every thread I've seen on this forum about a negative aspect of the game eventually dissolves into how Bioware broke their promises and how they cheated their fans for x or y reason. I think most people are perfectly fine with criticism as long as people realize it's their opinion, and they don't villainize Bioware by acting as if they have created some great deceit by releasing this game as it is.
but weren't they deceitful? you'll be hard-pressed to find a dev team that doesn't practice deceit to get the hype train rolling and inflate potential sales
i will admit, my criticism has become a bit destructive as of late... i've posted my feedback in a constructive manner a handful of times across some of the threads that looked like they were going somewhere, but they never got any bioware response and most of them have dropped back possibly tens of pages, whereas the only threads (that i know of) to get some sort of serious response were the qunari hair and banter bug threads, which to me is just another atomic slap in the face after seeing what they had done to (what i think may be) the last iteration of dragon age
