Hi BW. Some things I'd like to put your way for consideration in the DAMP experience.  (This is coming from an Xbox One player)

 

As it is, when we go into inventory, there is no UI representing the character load out. When we go to the various categories we still have to scroll to get to our equipped items. This is super inefficient.

 

 

Requesting:

 

- Add a section where, when we enter inventory, we are immediately placed into our load out (equipped items). From here we immediately see the weapons, armor, and accessories we have equipped.

 

- This section would be a list on the left side, similar to how it is now but showing only equipped items, and on the right side we can move over to the icons.  Either select an item in the list or move over to the icons and hit A (enter) and be taken to specific category (ie weapons, armor, acc).  List only the items applicable to the character. In other words, if we wish to change our weapon, rather than showing us all of them, just take us to the appropriate category (ie single-handed, dual-handed, daggers, staves, shields).

 

- View Player Load Out – (similar to ME3 MP) add the ability for players to see other player’s load outs.  This would be helpful in determining if certain players are/not well spec’d for the challenge.  (ie. Choose to leave session, kick vote, continue – makes the decision easier one way or another).  For example a new player using a level 1 char in Threatening = kick vote; an experienced player with good weapon, acc, upgs would more likely be able to hold their own.

 

- Host Chooses Enemy – As with ME3 MP we have the ability to choose level, map, and enemy.  This would be a bonus.  I do understand the desire for randomness, however it would be great to choose the level/map/enemy as host.

 

- Custom load outs: In Titanfall, after listening to the player community, they added custom load outs.  This allows players to choose their desired load out per game variation, and ability to change load out while in session.  Personally I would love to have the ability to create 2-3 different load outs  and ability/passive builds (per character) for the various enemies.  While we earn ability points, we can configure each custom load out as we go.  Not sure if we’ll ever see this happen, but it doesn’t hurt to ask.

 

- View Armors (prior to crafting) – This one really seems a no brainer, so not sure why this was not implemented pre-release.  When we go to craft armors we should be able to see what it looks like.  Please add either a pic of the armor, or better yet, a rotatable view of the character wearing the armor so we can see what it looks like in a 360deg view.  As it is right now it would be the equivalent of walking into a store to buy a shirt but they’re all wrapped in brown paper and we can’t see what we’re buying.

 

- In Lobby Player Location Indicator – whew, bunch of words there… a simple thing.  Please add a note or something to indicate if a player is say in the abilities section, inventory, or other.  As it is right now, we are not sure if a player is AFK or is simply taking their time choosing their load out, or speccing abilities.  If AFK after a few minutes = kick vote, if they are speccing etc = no problem, will wait.
