Anyone else miss the SW:KoTOR games?

Well, I played the first all of a month ago. I played the KOTOR2 many years ago, but remembered about 5% of it until rebuying it off steam. Hard to miss what's barely been done. :P At least in storyline and roleplaying, I'm definitely a fan.

Never tried TOR, though. I should get onto that. :/

I tried TOR... Well, Meh. Really. I tried, like, 4 times already with Different Characters and got bored as soon as I completed half of the Second Planet I visited. Maybe I need a good Guild or something like it...

Anyways, About KotOR, I would want and still want to see a Sequel, to explain those facts about everyone. No Books, no Comics, no Expansions in SW:TOR to make the problem go away... Just, a new KotOR game after Obsidian's KotOR (Duh, KotOR 3)

(IMHO) Really, Obisidian did a fantastic Job in KotOR 2, but since it was rushed, the quality fell greatly. Play it with TSLRCM and you'll find exactly what was that Obsidian wanted to make. Just fantastic. I give them another chance, but this time, don't rush it. Hell, they had 1 year to make the game...

KotOR, Jade Empire and since the DA games are more and more turning into Action-Adventures with RPG elements, CRPGs à la Baldur's Gate or Neverwinter's Night are all games people have a heart for, more for some than others of course. Personally, I'd be looking forward to a Jade Empire 2 (or a JE remake) the most since it's its own potential franchise with a massive setting of untapped potential for both story telling and gameplay.

Especially since JE is an action-RPG by nature so there'll be no dramatic shift of paradigms and whatnot. You'll get what you're expecting and probably more so.

Exactly. It's becoming tiring to expect things from games that ultimately don't deliver, so a game actually being like it's expected to be would be a fresh breeze. Besides, I don't see JE working as anything else but an action RPG anyway.

For as long as they keep the RPG part and not reduce it to assorted RPG elements like with most other games these days (not just talking BioWare).

I was really hoping for more clarification on the builders and the other information I was wanting to know is actually in SW:TOR, but they're in raids and dungeons and I really don't want to play an mmo just to find out the rest of the story. I'd google it, but I just don't like seeing other people playing and making choices. It should all be in a single player game imo. Another random thing I've always wondered about, do any of you remember that old military base on the first planet you go to that has a second level you can't access?

That military base is the HK-50 factory, you can't access it because it got cut from KotOR 2 due to LucasArts forcing Obsidian to release the game by Christmas.

Unless you have the Restoration mod that is.

The speech that HK-47 gives in that factory is (I do not use the following word lightly like most do) epic.
