Hi.

Maybe anyone here can help me.

The second time today I got the information that if I "Press {ConceptMenuAlt} to view" I get i.e. more information about Oculars. What is that supposed to be?

I am not the only one with this "problem", but the posts I found had gotten no answer.

Thanks.

I got this in a hint box during the tutorial the last two times I went through it; figured it's supposed to map to a key/control but maybe has a typo or something.

It's bugged. That's I imagine a slice of code that's supposed to auto-pull a keybind. Except it doesn't. I haven't figured out what key it's supposed to be yet.

It's a minor bug, and I can confirm that it's one that happened only after Patch 2 was released.  It's supposed to be showing whatever the mapped key is.  For example, I got that bug when the pop up for the crafting materials appeared early on.  This was when I was playing a new character last night during the prologue.  I know it's supposed to be the "I" key, but it went weird for some reason.  I hit the key and it wouldn't register.   After about 20 seconds, I hit the I key again and was able to continue.

Not sure about the camps part, but I've been wishing I could disable the tutorial popups for subsequent games.

That was an informative ninja post. When you say control though you mean whatever control was originally keybound to when if we switched bindings right?

Yeah, somehow the name for calling what key it actually it is to show you shows up instead of what you've actually rebound control to.

I should know because it always says press control for me.

Was that sarcasm by the way? Because I was just trying to help

I was very serious! It was informative. If control is the default then I can go through and see what the original key was meant to do. :)

Thanks!

Ah right. I saw this question come up before, so I knew what the Op was talking about. (Also retsarted the game not long ago)

This is still bugged for me. Lately I noticed it also told me to hit [ConceptTutorialMoreInfo]. Is Bioware going to fix this? It means the tutorial won't work because hitting the control key does nothing now.

Yeah, I definitely recall the keys displaying normally when I first played the game.

What's it been by now...2 patches since mid December?  I'm not sure.  Anyway, it's been at least a patch since my last post and they haven't fixed it yet.  It's minor in the grand scheme of things, next to bugged quests and game crashes, but it's annoying as hell.   <_<

It used to be mapped to Ctrl. However, a new patch changed Ctrl to be mapped to the newly-introduced Push To Talk in multiplayer. Since then, the pop-up guides have that Conceptmenu stuff instead. Eek.

I know that when I had it pop up the last time I played the game and hit the key. Nothing happened so I wonder if it got re-bound or just doesnt work?

At this point in time I won't be starting a new game (again) before the next patch, so won't be able to check.

Small update? You mean the latest patch, I guess. That was quite a big one.  ;)  I already love the chest at Skyhold.

This problem just appeared for me after Patch 5. I hadn't seen it previously.
