Okay, I'm very frustrated here and really, really hope someone, somewhere, can help me out.

I have recently insalled ME2 and have been trying to log into the Cerberus Network without success.

Each time I enter in my email/password, it comes back telling me they don't match.  I know they DO match, however, because I log in here, the EA.com site, and even Dragon Age: Origins in game, without issue.

I don't know if this is an account linking issue or what.  I had an account with the old Bioware forums with this email and don't know if there was an issue in linking the two.  I've registered ME2 here on the social site.

I'd be very grateful if someone could help me with this.

I'm in the same boat, just a different issue with the same thing.

I redeemed cerberus code on this website in my account, I cant log into it in game cuz it asks me to redeem, or purchase the code, yet when i try and redeem says its already used (cuz i used it on website)

Let's hope we get this cluster**** of problems fixed today.

I agree. I'd really like to be able to download the DLC...part of the reason I got the CE. =/

Word up.

Currently I can log into this site no problem. When I try to redeem my Cerberus Network code it says its in use on another account already. Same goes with my bonus Collector armor. I'm not sure if I should be worried. I cant even log into Cerberus through the game. Sure, It can get enough information to tell me I already have an account on this site, but damned if it can actually authenticate it going through the game. Get your **** together BioWare.

Aside from my boohooing, the game is AWESOME so far. But I want my 70 dollars worth straight out the box. It's not an unreasonable request.

Same problem. There is no option for me to input a username and password, only buy/redeem

I'm working on this same issue and I think I know the answers. Only the original game buyer can use these codes once for DA Blood Dragon Armor and/or the Cerberus Network. I bought DA:O new for the PC which included code for the Blood Dragon Armor and I successfully use it in DA and I have successfully transferred it to use in ME2 on the X360. I bought ME2 _used_ from GameCrazy for the X360 and have registered and played just the opening successfully BUT because the game is _used_ when I try to enter the code for Cerberus Network it says that it has already been used (or words to that effect). If I really need the Cerberus Network DLC then I'm going to have to purchase 1500 points (you can't get just 1200 points) and buy it. This will increase the used price of the game $19 to $59! And that is around the new price of the game I believe! ROTFLMAO.

Does this help? What I need to learn next really is whether the Cerbus Network DLC is really necessary and important to successfully playing ME2? Not that Achievements are important to me but are there any associated with using/playing this DLC? If not...if I don't need this additional content would I _ever_ regret not having it in the game??

Thank you.

Ratsneve, the Cerberus Network was always only to be free for people who buy the game new. Used purchasers will need to buy the 1200 points to unlock it.  (Unless they get lucky and the original buyer didn't use the code.)

If you want to know the worthwileness of the DLC, that's probably a question better asked in the Mass Effect Forums

If BioWare really wanted to curtail used sales they might remove Cerberus Network as content anyone could buy.  Used sales wouldn't be able to play any ME2 DLCs then.  Just think about the anger that would cause.

For a great game like DA or ME2 and the like a lot of gamers aren't going to wait a week even in the hopes of finding that first used copy are they?  I wonder if trying to curtail used game sales is going to be worth it or if new games sales won't just drop off?

BioWare is not interested in angry customers (disclaimer: unsupported hypothesis). This approach allows customers who bought the game not knowing if they would enjoy it to access content otherwise targeted at owners of original copies if they want to. They stand a much better chance of expanding their regular customer base this way than by punishing second-hand owners.

I agree... I think they are doing the right thing. It just caught me by surprise. If I could do this all over again I would buy the game new from Amazon for $55. :)  As it is if I buy the DLC with what I've got I'll be paying $19 more or $59.  Of course I'll have several hundred points left over for other future gaming.  There was never any question about whether I would like ME2 or not.

I notice no solution yet...

Similar problem here. Purchased and installed DA:O. Setup account and downloaded bonus content. Installed recently purchased ME2 and was unable to log in with the same message as the original poster. Both games are original purchases.

If this is not the place to get this solved please let us know who we are supposed to contact.

There is indeed a way to login from within the game.

That's done from within the game. I was wondering if maybe it was connecting to a different account (one that did not unlock the network).

Nah... am i just ****ed then? Seriously this is so frustrating as i have a legit code and such... i tried downloading the DLC from here and installing, then when i get in game it says yeah login or whatever, then there's no option to log in, once again only the option to buy a code or redeem it

if everyone has an option to automatically log in, that information has to be saved somewhere. if i knew where that file was, couldn't i just set it to auto log in with my information?

Even if it's not encrypted I wouldn't know where to find it. My only suggestion now is to ask in the tech help forum.
