Does anyone else feel uniquely drawn to the advisors?

I guess this makes as much sense as Sera joining to me. Lol

Ah.. well, I don't expect many to agree.

Just something about her lines up with the original Inquisition description to me. A band of idealists trying to restore order, and fix a "world gone mad". Especially when it comes to mage/templar issue. She's not firmly on either side: She's on the people's side. That makes her close to Cass and the advisors.

I do think I am drawn to the advisors and I romanced Cullen for my first pt. Maybe it is due to the fact that there aren't many buddies among the companions. I don't particularly attached to the companions in DAI. Interesting? Yes. BFF? No. On the other hand, we know Leliana and Cullen from the previous games. I am curious about them. And for Josie, I like her romance arc. I feel like the advisors are more important in the inquisition and hence the spotlight is always on them.

I'm romancing Sera....and dont feel like smooching my Advisor . I did try Josephine but muh...

And while leliana and Morrigan bring alot of Nostalgia...Leliana turned into a Liara  Hot and scary !!

And Morrigan while she is as awesome as ever...she become more mature then ever and I dont feel the urge there , yet .

I have the Hot for my own Hawk though  HALP!

I was drawn to Cullen, but I have always had a soft spot for him. Josie and Leliana? Not really. I always formed a closer relationship with Morrigan in DAO so I was never super excited to see Leliana again. The characters I was drawn to the most were Cass and Dorian. Those two are awesome.

I respected all three, and obviously Cullen and Leliana were old friends(well, to me, not my character), and I was impressed at Leliana's changes and her story arc, too. I didn't quite connect to Josephine, though I think she has a good quest and a great romance scene.

And, of course, Morrigan makes a fantastic advisor. (snicker)

I missed Cassandra at the war table, though. She's just as important to me as the other advisors, perhaps more, and I think she should've been there at Skyhold, just as she was at Haven.

As far as I'm concerned, she's the real leader of the Inquisition. Or close to it. Spends time advising me in most of the game. Instead of with the other advisors. And all my characters would die without her tanking (2h warrior, rogue, and mage).

Certainly, they are your original pow-wow! You are nothing without them. They are the cool kids that invited you to their lunch table

I'd say I'd love a Leliana romance but I don't want to be one of those guys.

I don't want to romance her, but I want to help her enough that her actual romance isn't turned off by the time they meet again. :D I never hardened her before.

I find it kind of hilarious my Warden hardened her and my Inquisitor unhardened her.

How do you unharden Leliana? Mine ended up pretty dark and scary.

It all happens in one mission, really.

She's about to murder a political opponent who was a childhood friend.

You tell her not to.

Then you tell her that Justiana wanted her to stop being Nightingale.

I feel drawn to Cullen, everytime he shows up on screen I can't help but smile, and I squealed in delight when he came with me on his personal quest, his romance is easily one of the best I've seen...Alistair, Anders, it was good while it lasted...ssoo Cullen, hows it goin :P what is it with the DA blondes lol

I'm fond of Cullen and  Leliana because they are characters that i've had 3 games to grow attached to. Josie, on the other hand i don't feel the slightest attachment in or interest in. I've felt drawn to Cassandra romantically, even if i feel the romances are poorer than preceeding games.

I feel especially drawn to Leliana but not to the advisers in general.

Hmmm... That's interesting, cause I told her not to kill that chantry lady, but she did so anyway. I'm not sure what I told her afterwards, but it was something supportive and she was still dark and scarry afterwards :(

Then I suspect it's all the other times you're asked by Leliana whether to do something morally questionable or not.

THere are 3 occasions, you must do all to unharden Leliana:

1. At haven (early in game), tell her don't kill Butler (that agent of her who is actually a double agent)

2. Tell her (right after arriving to Skyhold) that her scouts are not expendable.

3. Tell her not to kill SIster Natalie at her personal quest.

And I love it, haha. Especially with femInquisitor and Morrigan at the war table, I've never seen a man so outnumbered in this kind of military/political scenario. Leave it to Bioware to be quietly progressive and disruptive of the status quo ;)

I know! I prefer to play a woman, so to see Cullen so outnumbered... unless he sees it as a perk of his job. Plan troop movements, talk to the gorgeous ladies at the war table... :D

Same, I absolutely love all 3 advisors, more than most companions besides Dori/Vivi. First PT romanced Cullen and was Josie BFF. And Leliana went from someone I had little interest in in DAO become probably my second favorite character in the game besides Dorian. Wishing she was romanceable  -_-

I love this too, but I think it makes sense in DA's universe. I also noticed an unusually large number of female captains/commanders/other positions of authority while playing the game, so perhaps it's intentionally invoked that women are not looked down upon in high ranking jobs like they unfortunately are in our world. Perfectly reasonable in a setting where the divine prophet is a woman.
