A very stupid question but as I found myself stuck and google didn't really turn up any answers I figured I'd ask anyway. I know that the new patch added a function for hiding the UI for screenshots but can't find what key to press to do so, I tried alt Z and V but neither seemed to do anything. (I'm using a controller and playing on a PC)

Thank you.

The answer is in those.   In the time Realyn posted that link, they could've just posted one with the answer.  SMH  You must be Orlesian, Realyn.  XD

Thanks. From the patch notes I thought they might have added a hotkey and was wondering why I couldn't find anything about it.

Fantastic. I was wondering how to do this myself. Now for a followup question... Is there a way to freely control the camera so that I can take more flexible screenshots?

This game has 100x more commands than you can perform with a controller happily. In fact, origins had a whole advanced user community that only staged cinematic battles with no HUD. You have a PC I got the most advanced controls listed for you. I would equate your first game of this magnitude to be like learning a musical instrument, but you may as well start now. This is first and best as a mouse/ keyboard game. You'll find some limitations with a controller, as you should in such a good PC game. I think turning the HUD off is the same for both if you want to look up the General Options in my tutorial.
