What a ****** load of crap! A bunch of jerks the whole lot of you! I've been watching this thread silently and I wasn't going to comment but I can't hold this in any longer. So basically what all of you are saying is that a good looking woman above her thirties who is single, is a definite cheater, a no good wash up, only good for banging a few times and could only date a young guy as a trophy! What a bunch of bullshit! And to think that I ever thought some of you guys were decent at some point!

Eh.. Not really what I thought. It's certainly possible she's in it for just a quick fling but I don't think we know enough to really say for sure.

I agree with Jeremiah, age shouldn't matter with love (which I greatly hesitate to say considering when I agreed with him that videogames absolutely do not cause real world violence he just kept arguing that I was wrong and didn't understand science...)

I mean, in my firsthand experience, most women who are single in their mid to late 30's or later are either:

-Divorced

-Omega Female

-Dysfunctional love life

-Baggage Trains

-Brutally overcommited in other regards

 

For instance, not to long ago, a few people tried to push this woman on me who was in her late 30's. She was divorced and had 3 kids, the oldest of which was in his early teens. You want me to go from having no children to raising a kid in his early teens? **** no!

 

And I only believe she had cheat potential because she was a doctor. Women in such high places are often less patient with relationships and have the means to act on such impatience. If she was in a more down to earth position, say, a standard cube job, I wouldn't be inclined to believe she was a cheat.

 

Of course there are exceptions (there's always exceptions), but please, do tell us you viewpoint.

This scares me. I need a life partner though. I want a nice woman, not another... My ex was a wonderful woman.

Just to clarify: I'm not talking about Bunz's relationship in particular, I'm talking in general terms. I was very unlucky with my marriage, now I said to myself that I would never ever talk about it openly here on bsn.. but what the hell.. here goes: I got married at 19, I was in love, I hurried up but it turned out to be an alcoholic, an abusive alcoholic who beat me up and I stayed married for 14 years, he was jeaolus, I couldn't talk to anyone almost, he watched my every move, and yes I stayed for 14 years but people... it's really not that easy to leave a marriage, especially not when he looked perfect in public and made me look as the bad guy, like I was lying. But then my oldest sister died, long story short, I got four brain surgeries from stress and decided life was too short and just left! So you see.. a woman can be single and still good looking and committable and without kids and nice and etc... And I'm not really that single anymore, I am with a guy, I was just talking in general people.

The trophy thing has nothing to do with her age and everything to do with Bunz. I'm assuming that a 37 year old woman who's smart enough to be a successful doctor can identify what Bunz has to offer at a glance and knows what she's getting into by approaching him for a relationship. (Then again maybe I'm being naive and this woman genuinely needs the lesson a relationship with a guy like Bunz is sure to provide her with.)

 

He's not bringing a whole lot to one; Other than his looks and for a successful, driven woman that might be all she requires.

She doesn't need a man to buy her fine things, pay her bills, or help raise her children. She can handle that on her own and only wants a good looking guy who can make her smile and I'm sure Bunz can handle that.

 

I know I laugh at him quite a bit.

 

It is however the definition of a Trophy Wife/Husband.

 

 

YOU OWA should be able to identify people like Bunz with ease. Unless you think incessant bragging, posting sensitive information about the women he's seeing (including pictures!), and revealing his severe lack of relationship etiquette, stuff I could have explained when I was 8 years old, on a forum meant for Video Games are desirable traits...
