You know who I want here most of all? Solas. But I put Varric in because of the constant worry I'll run into some door I can't open, even with a giant stone fist and shield bash. Now I have a dilemma, should I reset the encounter entirely, or push on.
Don't forget to bring Cole too!
OMFG, you made me require a total reset. I stopped bringing cole anywhere right after I got him because a bear would sneeze on him and he'd instantly die, but you are right, his nature makes it a good place to bring him.
I think I had the same exact party combo and I was steamed, but I just ran with what I had instead of starting the whole thing over.
Bull is fun to bring to the Fade.. same with cassandra what with who you find in the fade
It doesn't really matter. I brought Varric, Blackwall, and Solas. Solas has a few lines about being tempted to explore the Black City, but he's just as confused as everyone else by the events inside the Fade.
Well, that's what subsequent playthroughs are for OP. My first time i had Solas with me most of the game. Nightmare has an interesting line for him but otherwise meh...not a lot of difference taking anyone so far (I have had almost everyone except Cole and Iron Bull now).
Sera is quite entertaining in the fade.
Yeah it actually doesn't really matter who you bring in, Solas does have some insight into the place but that's about it. He doesn't even have any dialogue options after you finish that entire quest back at Skyhold, which I think is weird considering how much of a cool experience it would have been for him. Cole doesn't like being in the Fade though, I probably wouldn't bring him again.
I got to and passed the point with cole cassandra and solas in tow.
I could not deny solas the opportunity to visit the fade in the flesh, even if what he says is not a big deal.
