I would classify these as there day jobs, in the real world. Well thats what i would classify them feel free to correct me.

 

Cassandra - Special Forces - Any

Solas - Philosopher

Varric - Writer (Specialist)

Cullen - General - Army

Leliana - Freelance Assassin

Sera - Clown (Rock Star)

Dorian - Historian

Morrigan - Gypsy (Fortune Teller)

Iron Bull - Mercenary Spy  or Burned Spy

Josephine - Diplomat or Secretary of state of a powerful nation

Blackwall - Double Agent

Vivienne - Royalty

Cole - NSA\CIA or private sector Spy

Sera would be that manic pixie hot chick who works at a small, colourful candy shop that you saw while walking to school/work one day, and have deliberately taken that same route every day since but you're too scared to walk in and talk to her because last time she caught you staring at her through the window she called you arse biscuit and gave you the finger.

- Josie as a PR/wedding planner/event organizer

Dorian I think would be studying history at university while working as a waiter at an oriental restaurant with a romantic theme at night to pay his tuition since he flat out refuses any help from his family on that matter. Couples would come in all the time, Dorian would flirt shamelessly with the women but end up slipping his phone number to the boyfriends on the receipt with a wink at the end of the night.

Dorian would probably be a professor in some sort of social science. Something that allows him to get out his activist urges without having to leave the safety of his books.
