When you first meet him in skyhold,

Kieran "you're the inquisitor"
"Mother said you were scary"

Inquisitor "who is your mother"?

Kieran "SHE is the harbinger, who awaits a new age"

Umm she's the harbinger. Flemeth says HE's the harbinger in the eluvian. Did this go overlooked and has Morrigan outwitted her mother once again? If she has the old god soul then what soul does Kieran have?

If this is what this hints at it changes everything.

IIRC what he says is 'Inheritor', 'the Harbinger of the new age'. Which kind of makes sense considering what Morrigan knows/thinks and might have taught him.

Edit: To clarify, up until DAI Morrigan thinks her mother is possessed by something and basically extends her life by taking over the bodies of her daughters. She's also confident that for the time being she's given Flemeth the slip and perhaps intends to continue to do so as long as Flemeth lives. After which most likely Morrigan sees herself as the new 'Flemeth', the witch of the wilds who will work to preserve the old magics of the world....and control the power of an old god through her son.

Flemeth took the old god soul from Kieran. And Morrigan is now uncertain of what becomes of his destiny.

Kind of like what a lot of people thought when we first saw Hawk. Though to be fair, my warden could have easily shared the skills of the arcane warrior with Morrigan. Combine that with Knight Enchanter and a Force mage and you essentially have a plate wearing mage Jedi. As silly as that might sound, I kind of expect my warden to train his son in combat skills, just as his mother is training his magic skills.

There is a possibility for that to happen. The current ruler doesn't have an heir to the throne and he is a possible heir.

Not going to happen, as lots of people wouldn't have access to him.

I thought I had it a little off but it had been 30 mins or so and it was late.

All you're doing is interpreting much like I am though. Honestly it's just BW leaving doors open. It's a small way of not writing into a corner.

It's a shame he can't be a companion, not without saying, "I came from another world through a magic mirror."  But I do want to see him again.

I hope not. Or either Alistair or my beloved Warden die via Urthemiel. That 'Child' is an abomination, with or without Urthemiel's Soul.

The whole OG soul thing felt to me as Bioware's way of sweeping it under the rug and saying "lol, now Kieran is a normal kid for everyone, stop caring"

In the pt where he was normal from the start he might as well not have been present at all.

Morrigan would be breaking her part of the bargain; we had an understanding (LOL)!  I'm thinking my Queen Warden might have to shank her and urge the kid to disappear before he ever finds out who his dad is.

That's interesting, given what new info the game has given us on lyrium :)

the next king will always be Fergus, if you have alistair he will die for the taint, if you have the cousland young brother he will die for the taint or disappear, or if you have anora she will remain the queen.

Speaking of stuff Kieran says, he made a rather strange comment about my Qunari Inquisitor.

He either says, "I noticed your blood. It does not belong to your people", or, "I'm just sad about what happened with your people (or something along these lines)".

I also remember reading that Cory says something about the Qunari at some point if the Inquisitor is Qunari.....So....thoughts?

Anora is barren, LOL. Does Fergus have an heir? I think not. So Ferelden's Throne will always pass-up to one family to another.
