I wonder what armor dwarven rogue players are using for aestetic purposes. I'm currently doing a dwarf (female) playthrough. I'm 30 hours in and I'm still using tier 1 coat since I'm not able to find anything that looks better. Tier 2 masterwork schematics from Inquisition perks look horrible. Hopefully I'll find Carta armor schematics soon.
What are your preferences and goals? (screenshots are welcome!)
Inquisition Scout Armor(Scout Harding) is a nice one too(you can buy it in Haven), though I'm not sure that this schematic is in game, but you can add it with 'Cheat Engine' as well as Carta armor.

You can notice Front Skirt only at the end of Run Animation and I doubt that Bioware will fix it, probably they didn't even now about it, because it's too easy to overlook.

Carta Hat, Carta Coat and Dwarven Helm are all T2 RNG loot chest drops. I found the coat in the hinterlands on this playthrough so that debunked my winter palace fixed drop initial idea. The legion of the dead armor is in one of the tombs in the hissing waste. I got it in the Tomb at the top of the hill east north east of the starting camp but some people have said they got it in the final tomb behind the giant lizard.
You can craft Legion of the Dead Heavy Armor with Silverite and put it on your Dwarf (as long as it make of Silverite, all classes can wear Heavy Armor).
I find it one of the best looking armors in the game.
I think OP was asking about Rogue style armor: medium armor not Heavy...Grey Warden medium armor is not a bad choice as well but that's all(GW, Carta, Inq. Scout Armor) I afraid :\
