Lord Erimond's proper judgement

That's a mage only option? Curious--my first two inquisitors were mages. My first, a Dalish, was appalled at the practice--seeing it as mental castration--and executed him. (Having just come from DA2, I didn't want the Inquisitor to be seen as another Meredith). My second inquisitor (a Circle mage hard-liner) went for this option, sucked up the disapproval from companions, and cracked down hard on the protesters on the wartable mission afterward.
Guess I will just execute him on my rogue. This idiot is too dangerous to live.

10/10, I may never play a warrior or rogue again just so I can do this every playthrough.

I finally achieved it
Took 3 games to finally get that option - totally worth it. It's pity only mage have an access to it. I was looking forward to play as a chantry fanatic.

I'm hoping my rogue/warrior will still have the choice if I chose the arcane perk. (I think it's because I did Cassandra's seeker side quest first before I judged him that maybe I got locked out via my Rogue since I had judged him first then did Cassandra's Seeker quest as my mage...hmm, experiments are coming up) If not, I'll probably cry
Either way - I know my companions get ticked off but seriously - this guy pissed me off that much in the game.
I was gleeful when my Inquisitor pretty much shut him up by bringing up 'oh that demon army - I wonder when it was going to arrive' - the way he reacted was just peachy,
Then they go and top it off by shutting the guy up even further by knocking him onto his ass (while he was pretty much getting excited over taking the anchor away - seriously, if Corphy couldn't do it - what made this little guy think he could?) using the fade rift and turning it back on him and he ran away (how did he exactly get past them all without them seeing him is still beyond me)
Next time - I'm going to chose the option that allows me to get to the Grey Wardens quicker he doesn't have the chance to retort saying that he is trying to help the Grey Wardens in that mocking tone.
But sorry companions (though Viv approves, doesn't she? Lovely lady - love her), this is the guy who convinced Grey Wardens to go on a desperate path of using blood magic and using demons under the pretence he was trying to help them but was actually setting up the future for himself. He claims that he will be able to go to Corphy's side in death and there is no point in locking him up (he'll probably get out at some point) and there is no way I'm giving him back to the Grey Wardens so they can fall under his control again.
Which is just funny because I am against tranquillity (though I don't mind the tranquil, they are sweet people (and I have no such problem killing that templar back in DA:II - he deserved worse to be honest)) but him - there was not even a moment of hesitation and it was bliss to see him protest over it while being dragged away. I could almost imagine my Inquisitor wiggling her fingers with a smirk on her face as she watched this.
Though I did need to do a war table quest to shut down the mages who started crying over my inquisitor doing such a thing. Seriously?! Did you people NOT get the memo of what this guy did? and you're picking a fight? Fine - it's the templars the next time round - at least they'll understand what I'm doing! (and back me up!)

I've made him tranquil twice and both times I've never regretted it. I love how he does a 180 and starts crying. lol!!

You can also tranquile Alexius and, i think, Calpernia.
I don't believe Calpernia can be taken prisoner. In my playthrough she chose to jump off a ledge and kill herself rather than being taken prisoner.

Why would Tranquility be an option only for Mage Inquisitors? I was so looking foward to it. ![]()

i could've sworn that my rogue inquisitor had the option to make him tranquil? unless i'm sorely mistaken.

Yeah it's a bit absurd.
I could see it being mage or if you have the arcane perk then fine.
But you can only get it as a mage? Really?

Yah and in my last playthough she and her followers went after Corypheus who shows up soon afterwards so off hand I'd say she's dead either way.

Tranquility is the best option for him, but sadly on my most recent playthrough I couldn't do it 'cause I was romancing Solas. :/

I wanted to, I wanted to so bad... but I practiced restraint. Tranquility is an alternative path, and a viable one, not a punishment. Using it as one will only set a precedent that will lead to its continued abuse in the future, while continuing the stigmatization and mistreatment of Tranquil.

Always find it funny how he's trying to bring a demon army into the world, dam near destroyed the Grey Wardens, works for Coryphifish, yet when you make him tranquil you get mages screaming oppression popping up as a war table mission.
