So after the findings of the posters in thread I went back and re-tested Enchanted Chain Lighting Ring and Enchanted Firestorm ring.

 

This time when I tested I got the same results as the posters on Enchanted Chain Lighting Ring. So yes It does work. The results on the Enchanted Firestorm ring stays the same however.

 

If someone else could test the Enchanted Firestorm ring and confirm if it works or not it would be appriciated.

As most of you probably already know many of the Enchanted rings does not work. After extensive testing of the Enchanted Chain Lighting Ring and Enchanted Firestorm ring I can confirm that neither of them adds any damage to their respective skills.

 

On another note, Enchanted Wall of Fire Ring does work.

I can confirm however, that following rings work:

• Enhanced Blizzard Ring
• Enhanced Twin Fangs Ring

the biggest problem with such bugs is that some people might have been happily using these rings

for a long while now, not knowing that they don't work at all

The chain lightning one is one of the few ability rings I do have.

My Chain Lightning ring increases the damage from 250% to 300%. This raises the overall damage from 1500% to 1800%, which is a 20% increase in damage.

I got a Rally ring from a chest yesterday........which is super helpful being a SP focus ability and all.

I do believe my Enhanced walking bomb ring and Enhanced explosive shot ring.

At least it reflects the damage increase percentage when viewing the skill itself.

I guess I should do some testing in a private lobby to find out for sure.

I just did some tests on the chain lightning ring, and it does work for both keeper and arcane warrior.

 

Here are some numbers of chain lightning casts from my level 7 arcane warrior to level 2 mobs (not including crits):

Without the ring (250% weapon damage)

wraith(the green one): 230-249

red templar: 172-177

venatori zealot: 230-253

 

With the ring (300% weapon damage)

wraith: 282-300

red templar: 204-215

venatori zealot: 291-308

 

Similar numbers were also observed on my level 1 keeper.

Interesting. I'm assuming the OP actually tested this in game, cos these are the sort of damage numbers I'm seeing.

Anyways, I went back and tested again and this time I did get the same results as you guys. Thanks you for taking your time to check this. I tested the Firestorm ring for about one hour and the Lighting ring for about half an hour becuse I wanted to be completly sure before I posted. I dont know why I did get the results as I did on the lighing ring.

 

However, I still get the same results on the firestorm ring. If someone else that got the ring could test it themshelfe for confirmation it would be appriciated.

Anyone confirm Energy Barrage ring? I wanted to test a Nightmare build next Keeper promotion. This would be great if so.
