When I use 'dudebro', I most certainly am not referring to all straight dudes. That would be a huge disservice to many fine gentlemen. I use it to refer to 'dudebros' exclusively.
I don't doubt your intentions specifically, but the lines tend to get blurred very often here in general.

No guys are just less likely to take part in the online 'fandom' but playerbase wise there are tons of guys who play DA and ME games. We just tend not to post on tumblr about what characters we think would be "x333 cute" together. no offense to tumblr people!!
Yep girls do play this and other games too. Get this, I've even heard that sometimes even dudes play games too!!!! Oh the humanity, what is this world coming too.

Kind of, Dragon Age is for girls and Mass Effect for men, or at least you can clearly see this in the romances (ME is full of good romances for us guys but DA not that much they screwed us with only one hetero romance), and I think there are more females writers in the DA team, the ME team is mostly only guys.

Yeeeeah, definitely reminds me of when the internet was still new and you see chats and forums with this all the time. 
My favorite part of this thread is where he says (paraphrasing):
