I was just thinking that with some tinkering, this game could have been one big huge story.

You could have done the Breach as Game 1#.

Maybe with both the Templar and Mage quests as doable versus one.

Then you could have spread the games out across two more.

It would have been a very different game and would need more tinkering, but I think they could have pulled it off.

What do you think?

I think they'd do well to expand it into DA5, but any further I"m not sure.

Inquisition was clearly meant to be a continuation of Hawkes story if you look at all the details (the peace talks, dealings with Corephyus, Varric and Cass) but was rewritten due to the backlash.

That said I prefer a new protagonist each game. After Inquisition I don't want to see the Inquisitor or his/her companions. I don't want additional games with that are outside of DLC for Inquisition.

Origins was the Wardens story. 2 was Hawkes story. Inquisition the Heralds. I like having a unique story that happens to be set in Thedas each time. Keeps it fresh and unique.

So far we have had 3 world building games.

Unlike Mass Effect which was clearly intended as the Shepard Trilogy. Dragon Age is creating a new mythos world. They will have 5-6 more games and maybe a MMO at some point, I could see this world being made into a lot of other types of media. I would love to see a D20 source book as well.
