Greeting. I am curious who you like least. People usually ask who you like best but I decided to turn the question to the opposite.
When I say LEAST FAVOURITE I do not mean that you hate this NPC or that you wish to remove him/her from the game.
And one more thing: enemies do not count, so you cannot say Calpernia for example. Choose from one your companiuons, please.

Least Favourite, probably Blackwall. But I enjoy all of the companions because they all bring something different to the table.

Morrigan, with her deus ex machina magic and general Mary Sue-ness. I wish they had made up a new character rather than shoehorning her into the plot so thirsty nerds could see their virtual baby mama again.

I hate to say it but it's Blackwall. There doesn't seem to be anything exciting about him. He's probably the character I've interacted with the least.  The next would probably be Viv. There's no way to like her. I get her motivations but they aren't compelling at all and she's very irritating.

I don't get what's so bad about Morrigan. She comes across much better in this game than in Origins.

Yeah, but that's not really hard considering she was the most obnoxious cliché imaginable in Origins.

I would agree to a certain extent if we're only going by her appearance however her Ayn Rand attitude to things was actually surprising to me in that game. I'd have thought she'd have been written as a more appealing persona if meant to appeal to nerds rather than hormones.

Idk man, considering how many video game fans are teenage libertarians you'd think a sexy Ayn Rand would be borderline pandering...

The cliché comes more from how she's used in the plot. Her entire character arc involves getting whatever she wants, people in positions of power bending to her will for unexplained reasons, and her never having to experience any negative repercussions for her actions. It's like a teenage girl's Mary Sue fan fiction and it's terribly boring.

You can hardly say there's no repercussions after

Spoiler

My least fav is probably Vivienne. I know she was meant to be a ******, and great writing, but god it gets on my nerves. Doesn't help that I'm not the biggest supporter of the Circles.

You got me to laugh at the first point and I agree there is that element in gaming.

It was odd in Origins. I did almost everything selflessly in a playthrough where I romanced her and she still stuck around. I think she's been given more maturity in this game. But she's not the only character in this series for which "getting whatever she wants, people in positions of power bending to her will for unexplained reasons, and her never having to experience any negative repercussions for her actions" could be written about. You could make the same case for Sera in the current game and of course she's equally as divisive.

I mean, not really? At least not yet. If you're referring to the part with...

Spoiler

What repercussions there may be are entirely speculative at this point. I drank from the Well just to see Morrigan throw a hissy fit for not getting her way for once.

If Sera somehow became confidante to the Empress of Orlais for no reason other than "because reasons" then maybe I'd agree with you, but Sera's got nothing on Morrigan. Sera can be kicked out of the Inquisition at any time, and she never gains the political power Morrigan does.

Other then her I like, to various degrees, all characters.

Morrigan is little more than an unknown backwoods witch running around with an exiled Warden in the first game. Give Sera time ;) Next game you might see her at the right hand of the Divine Cassandra or as the elite assassin for Leliana. Our little Elf is just hitting the big leagues. ;)

At the moment, Sera or Vivienne. But I'm playing a more serious playthrough. Next one will be more silly nad probably use Sera more.
