I picture you shaking your fist when I read this part.

Pretty much. Or maybe it was a roll my chair back, pointing, and shouting it....in more colorful language of course.

And mostly because my Inq didn't have the option to actually punch her. Seriously, who makes fun of and laughs at their friends who are in pain? Was it too much to ask for her to be the friend that says "Hey, want me to punch that arse buscuit in the face...for your face?" and follow it up by going to the bar and getting hammered?

Apparently it means you don't appreciate her for who she is and want her to change, and asking for a little character development means you don't get her at all. Well excuse me, I have no tolerance for rudeness and Sera is nothing if not rude.

Cole. Mostly because I didn't understand his gibberish party banter. Then Sera and Vivienne in the second place.

fake Warden. Too bad I can't leave him in the fade instead of Hawke/Loghain/Stroud/Alistair

I had accidentally spoiled what happens at the end of Here Lies the Abyss for myself...I knew there'd be a choice sacrifice, but I didn't know who the candidates were.  Before I actually completed it for myself, having already figured out that Blackwall was lying about being a Warden and most likely did something really F'd up in his past (the game makes it entirely too obvious, but that's a rant for another topic), I honestly thought that Blackwall would be an option there.

Blackwall. Hypocritical jerk. I don't mind if people being selfish or arrogant or even evil as long as they acknowledge it. Blackwall acts like his craps don't stink. Vivienne at least knows she's a b. Sera is an idiot, but she's still pretty young and angry. Blackwall has none of that excuse and for him to act like a saint is just annoying.

The "I wiped out a whole family I'm a c**t" thing with Blackwall didn't actually phase me.

It was more about how boring it was. I found myself hitting skip with most conversations.

Agreed.

His crime? Whatever.

The lying? Annoying but I could deal with it.

The acting like he's a damn saint and getting on my PCs ass for being pragmatic? GTFO.

Yep. A lot of companions do horrible things and a lot of them are just plain asses so I'm used to that sort of thing, but I watched his romance on youtube with a female dwarf during the judgement scene and he was acting all high and mighty and scolding her about using her criminal background to get him out of prison and I felt more disgusted than I did when I found out the rest.

I know op said not someone you hate but **** it. Leliana.

Least favorite character though is maybe Cole and Sera. Cole's more like a walking codex entry generator than a character. I like his interactions though and I loved his personal mission, but oddities like him, or Justice or EDI, they're oddities, not real characters.

Think Chubacca. LOVE chewy, but as a character, he's nowhere on my radar.

And Sera's just annoying and out of place, though amusing a lot of the times. Comic relief.

edit: Actually, no, EDI felt like a real person after a while. Loved her in Mass Effect.

Blackwall and Sera.  Like, Sera's funny and all, but I just didn't click with her.  Probably cause my Inquisitor's too "elfy."  Blackwall just never intrigued me and I didn't care for his story.

For the companions

Sera: I really tried my best to like this lass but my lord what an absolute asshat. I found her humor rather childish and obnoxious along with her hypocritical nature and disturbing lack of empathy. A few moments were nice but man did I wish there was an option to choke a ******. If it wasn't for the Jar of Bees I don't think I would have brought her on board.

Vivienne: A super ****** of epic proportions. I hardly interacted with her but the times I did really left me in a sour mood and I rarely brought her along on missions. Plus there never seemed to be a whole lot to her like the other companions in terms of development.

Other Characters

Corypheus: What a waste of potential. I was really hoping that we would finally get a solid antagonist for the Dragon Age series but it looks like we will have to keep on waiting.

Mother Giselle: I found this woman to be extremely irritating for some reason and made it my mission to avoid her every chance I could.

Also screw Erimond!

Other than Cullen, Jos, Lel, and Cassandra I hate all of the companions including Morrigan. I hate Iron Bull the most. After dealing with Sten I can't take Bull seriously especially after hearing him flirt with Dorian during the middle of hunting a Dragon then later  breaking news that they had a bull riding event together.

I do know one thing nobody will take my tattoos.

But yes Sera is a ****** ******* any mention of elves she gets all bitchy like just cut your ears off then. Then thinking she can cruely prank people for whatever reason I see why they give you the option to kick her out. Then she does not even believe Mythal is real

Vivienne is my least favorite. Even as a mage Trevelyan, I still don't trust her. And as far as I've seen, mage Trevelyan has the best relationship with her out of the different Quizzies. You have more in common, and more reason to get along. She also tries to mother them, which is kind of sweet. Though that might change when I finally go through her personal quest, I really doubt it.

I was iffy on Sera when I played through as a mage Lavellan. But subsequent playthroughs have made her grow on me. She's just so antagonistic to a Dalish Quizzy. It's hard to play through her sections. Because you can try to be supportive of her, but if you have any disagreements on how things are.. Or if you romance Solas. She's very hard to like in those scenarios. She's just not very nice to a Solas romancing Dalish Quizzy. Every other race I've played so far seems to get along with her just fine. I'm really enjoying her friendship path with my Blackwall romancing mage Trevelyan.

mm I dont really dislike any of the characters this time around but lets say if had to sacrifice one of them ...............it might be Sera.

Those prisoners though in Empire Du Lion that kept shouting " Get us out " lol i wish there was an option to kill them , the way they shouted it felt like daggers in my brain.

Ha! @ Mother Giselle.

All I can say is... if there's a cure for insomnia, she's it.

She particularly grated on my nerves butting into Dorian's personal business.

Vivienne... cannot stand her.  She is the typical two faced politician that is seeking only power while trying to act like she isn't a a self serving ******.  You can't even explain yourself to her that well since she is always right and everyone else is an idiot.  If she wasn't a KE she would be left to rot in Skyhold.

I can't say that I really hate anyone, but my least favourite characters gotta be Sera and Vivienne. Sera's jokes were not funny, she's incredibly childish and unresponsible, and many things she said to my Dalish mage!Inquisitor were... not nice. And then there's her personal quest... As for Vivienne, it's because of her superior attitude and hypocrisy regarding mages. Also, both of them lack any kind of character development, which is sad.

If they were real people then it would be Vivienne hands down.  She is pure poison with almost no redeeming qualities.  In the game however, Viv is entertaining especially when sparring with other characters.  Blackwall is kinda bland but he some of the game's best moments.  While I wasn't surprised he wasn't a GW I didn't know his secret would be so brutal.  I also definitely didn't see having to judge him coming.  That was almost as cool him hittin' Femquisitor and running off into the night without saying goodbye so he can't be last.

Unfortunately that means I gotta jump on the "I hate Sera" bandwagon too.  Too annoying, too immature, too self-hating, and not even that cute.  Basically  I'm not feelin' her at all and if she wasn't great for fighting dragons I wouldn't pick her.  She might my least favorite character in a Bioware game ever.

I utterly loath dorian as a character. I loathed Iron Bull on a lore, gameplay, and character level, but all three don't match to how much I hate dorian only on a character level.

Dorian is the worst character to ever come from bioware, and I don't understand the hype for him. He has no character traits. No bravery, no lying, no internal struggle, no self hate, no nothing. He's literally just....sassy gay friend. It's all he does and is. The reason for joining the inquisition/not returning to tevinter? His dad tried to pray the gay away with blood magic, the after school special cliche you'd see in some indie-film or season ending of Degrassi. What are his typical comments on things? Pointing out fashion or just being sassy. Every other bioware character I could think of something funny or witty to summarize them. Jack, the one with a history of being a punching bag who punches back. Wynne, the caring grandmother with a mildly disturbing secret. Sten, the stalwart solider dedicated to a mission, who hides his softy side. Alistar, the lovable idiot just meaning well. Jolee Bindo, the old man who's lived long enough to see the evil and good in everything. Hell, Steve Cortez, the guy who lost his husband but powers through and moves on enough to get on with life to help everyone else. But Dorian? the only thing I can say to describe him is 'the gay guy'. I don't hate dorian because he's gay, I hate him because he's nothing but gay.

Vivienne. Great writing, nothing wrong with the character herself, she just rubs me the wrong way.
