Might just be bugged. Gaider thought the scene was still in the game. Maybe it was cut since he last looked, though.

They're touching enough that I'd like to see them.

Not that I don't believe you, but do you have a link for David's comment?

Also, I'm curious as to where in the game this conversation would fit. I can't think of any such instance.

He never returned to the thread though, nor elaborated on it to confirm/deny.

Loads of people trying to trigger, no luck.

What results in the second convo? The third sounds like it could be a warden who romanced someone else and only did the ritual to survive or one who stabbed Morrigan during Witch Hunt.

...I have no words.

Why

Why

WHY

was this  cut?  It...beautiful.  Could have happened if you did the ball before Adamant, just a little cutscene of the warden-friend in question walking around the garden.  *sniffles* Alistair meeting his son...

I would like to know how on earth people are getting access to all this "cut" content.

In my world, Alistair was made King with the HoF as his Queen, and he fathered Morrigan's baby so we could all have a happy ending. I still would've liked to have seen him interact with Morrigan and talk about Kieran in DA:I, though.

I take that this scene only happens if Alistair is a warden and not a king.

Wish it would happen either way.

Thanks! That explains it.

The problem is there is no scene within the game where King Alistair could potentially meet Morrigan.

That was partly why I wondered where this conversation would fit.

You'd have done the ball, and then saved Adamant for afterward.  Hawke's warden-friend is on the battlements in between Crestwood and Adamant, so this would have been a scene if one went into the garden before Adamant, or even station the warden-friend there instead.

That was... amazing. I hope this is just bugged an not cut content, because if it was cut I would seriously question Bioware's sanity.

It sounded like the scenes only happen if he was the warden-friend.  Although I still feel like there is a sore lack of interaction in general if he was king.

My understanding is that it happens (or is supposed to happen) if you go to Morrigan's spot in Skyhold in the brief period after meeting Hawke's "Warden contact" but before going on to Adamant (provided you'd already completed the Wicked Eyes & Wicked Hearts plot first).

I remember seeing this in the days leading up to release -- Brianne tested it out, as I recall -- so I'd be surprised if it'd been cut. Less surprised if there's some other issue involved, however.

I think my favorite part of it is how Morrigan actually took the initiative to search for the Warden. The way she says "I-I went to Ferelden" really sells it, there's so much emotion in it.

However, she sounds much more hostile here towards a Warden who left to search for a cure than she does in the actual game.

I'd heard that this was possible, so specifically tried for it in my current playthrough. I got Alistair first, then did the Ball, but never got anything and finally gave up and did Adamant. When Alister left afterward, he did tell me to tell Morrigan something for him, so it felt like there should have been some interaction.

Is it possible it only triggers if you completely ignore the Warden stuff before doing the Ball and getting Morrigan?

It seems quite possible to me that she is slightly resentful of a Warden who left, but hides such feelings out of respect for them. Here she lets her true feelings slip for a moment.

Second is Warden being the father no romance. Third one is Warden romance who didn't follow her in the eluvian.

Awwwwww. Now I'm sorry that the version of Alistair who fathered Kieran in my world state was king instead of Warden - I think he'd like knowing that Morrigan actually said something nice about him to their kid :) .

(It's really a shame we only have that one brief moment of King Alistair - it would have been cool for him and Morrigan to be able to talk about the whereabouts of the Warden, or to see him interact with Leliana, not to mention that Fiona is standing around Skyhold the whole time ... still, I guess we can't have everyone visit.)

It can't happen for King Alistair, it would only be Warden Alistair.

But AFAIK no one has gotten it to trigger, people were saying on the other thread that they think the triggers simply don't fire. If I manage to get it to work I'll post but I don' tthink I will either.

I'm doing a Warden alistair playthrough anyway this time since I don't like what happens to hawke (both choices end up the same imo) whereas I *think* Warden Alistair has a potentially happy ending.

This is just beautiful. I love how adult Morrigan has become since DAO. I wish I could see this in-game. I had Warden!Alistair who performed the dark ritual and I did the ball mission first, so I had the two of them in Skyhold at the same time. I tried talking to them a few times hoping someone would mention something, but no such luck.

Nice to see that Zevran isn't the one with buggy dialogue in this game.

Of course it would be nice if dialogue didn't bug out at all...  The Keep was supposed to prevent this, right?

I think it's a shame that Loghain only gets a bit if it's his child. I'd have liked to hear his input on the other outcomes.

Never the less, this is some great dialogue here. Really shows some character depth and development.

It is possible for this conversation to trigger with Loghain or Alistair.  You just have to do things in a specific order.  I am currently working on setting it up for Loghain.  I went to Crestwood with Hawke to meet her Warden contact.  Followed the quest enough for the Warden to be back at Skyhold.  I am going to do the Ball before going to Adamant.

The scene with Morrigan, the Warden, and Kieran doesn't always trigger right away.  You might have to go out and do some quests and come back until it triggers.  But it is possible.
