Apart from instance of women fighting in defence of their own towns and villages, women actually fighting on battlefields is very rare. It gets mentioned a disproportionate amount in histories because when it happens its always note worthy. You are really talking about less the 0.01% of all combatants in history. Not that this matters as this is a fantasy game and so it doesn't have to be realistic.

In all seriousness , none of the females are sexualized , the issue with arm size etc is just Bioware being Lazy (Don't hate me Bio i luv you) with having one body type for all classes , would be a bit weird seeing a mage with massive neck muscles... they choose an avg size and went with it.

All those times I suffered through the ME intro... Minor imperfections didn't bother me as much in DAO, we don't see their face that often. That mirror was a godsend in DA2.
