HELP FIX YOUR GAME

Aside from saying "This is broken" and whining, why not actually give some information so they can try to fix it?
Like platform
Was it working before

What were you doing when it stopped working (during a match? during loading screens? In the scoreboard after game? Crafting screen? etc)
Have you checked to make sure your mic is still working in other games?

Have you unplugged your mic and plugged it back in?

Have you tried restarting the game?

 

Just whining saying something doesn't work doesn't help anyone, including bioware, to help resolve the issue.

I had it working for like 5 minutes after the patch but had to put it back to voice activation because it wouldn't hear me while VA would.
I attempted to remap the PTT key to R and the game wouldn't recognize it as a valid key entry even though it changed in the options.

Bioware can resolve the issue, roll back to pre DLC because they ****ed it up bad.

It wasn't working for me before the Destruction dlc either. I was still heard in the lobby without holding down my push-to-talk key. I just turned the setting to "off" and that seems to work, but now I have to go into settings and turn it back on if I want to educate someone about how they are being an idiot.

PTT never worked for me.

Set the control under Audio to "Push to Talk", set the Key to "Alt" under Keybindings, and people can still hear me (when I am NOT pressing the PTT button).

Bioware can resolve the issue, roll back to pre DLC because they ****ed it up bad.

They're not going to roll back the DLC for everyone because a feature they added broke for some people.

You could always just uninstall that DLC and play that way until a full fix comes out.

PTT is weird.  I have used PTT since it was introduced.  It was working flawlessly.  Now however. I've noticed my mic would be on without me pushing my key down.  And then other times, my mic would not light on when I do press the key down.  It it definitely buggy but at least there is an option to just disable ingame voip now so I can just use vent or mumble.
