Chests yielding 1 less item (not potions)

Lately my chests have been giving me 4 items in large, and 2 items in medium, but the normal number of potions.

Has anyone experienced this?  Sometimes I get the proper amount but most of the time I get less than the listed amount.  Someone said it might be tied to the armor limit as I have all the created armors in my inventory, but I am unsure.

Any advice would be appreciated.

It won't let you buy a chest if you don't have the inventory space for the items.

This has happened a fair amount to me as well.  Randomly chests will yield 1 item short of what they are supposed to.

That's funny. I posted this same bug about a week ago, and Bioware didn't really give a crap about it:

Only so many employees assigned to monitor the forums my friend, bugs will slip through the cracks that is why it is important for multiple posts about the same bug sometimes. We really need a MP bug reporting section in these forums to consolidate these issues because this is not combat strategy.

For everyone who has seen this issue the next time you see it could you PM me your GamerTag/OriginID and platform ( PC / Ps4, ect. ), description of the contents of the chest, what size chest, and what time you opened the chest? I took a look at Mech's transaction history, but it contains so much data that I need a way to pinpoint a problem chest. Much appreciated!

We pushed a fix for this issue to the servers today. The issue was that the pack was trying to grant you a new armor, but instead granted you the materials required to craft that armor instead. If anyone else opens a chest after today and still only seems to receive 4 items please let us know.

Thanks!  Little did anyone realize it was a blessing in disguise to get a missing item in a chest, lol.  Get more materials than usual.

Aww... now it apparently means we can get armor pieces, even though we already have them crafted.  They dont even get removed from the drops.

A (formerly) missing reaver armor piece fooled me.  Havent had any issues otherwise.

You mean there's a chance to get like 15 Cloth as an "item" in a chest?  That can go a long way, or help craft like 3 non-Mage armors instead if lucky.

You guys should just kill armor drops and make them material batches instead.  10 of each category as a random level 1 type?

This may well has happened to me without me noticing it at all... When I buy chests I don't count the cards and just scroll through them without looking.

I check for Rare and Unique items after the fact while I'm salvaging the 6 Raider Greatswords I have accumulated.

However I did notice I had quite a stash of crafting materials a couple days ago.

I consulted with the engineer that made the change this morning and took a look at Kalgerion's account, and everything looks good. There is some confusion, probably, because the Reaver armor that was bugged could get into a state where it was not craftable nor droppable ( If you crafted 02, and then crafted 02a then 02b would dissappear from your list, whereas if you crafted 2b before 2a you'd be fine). Kal saw the reaver armor in his pack, assuming he had already crafted all the armors, and assumed it was a duplicate.

If anyone sees the Reaver armor drop twice in a pack, then I'll have to do some further investigation but for now it just looks like a bit of confusion and bonus mode : some of you have a new Reaver armor to craft.

Thanks,

Amelia

I just realized that this means the chests are all predetermined.
That means you HAVE to get the right chest rather than your rare/unique slot in the chest.
This changes everything
