I got Dragon Age: Origins collectors edition when it was just released and
I currently play it on my brothers PS3. I have some DLC and I'm
looking to possibly get my own PS3 soon since all my data is in his
account is there a way for me once I get my own console to transfer
all my stuff to my own account without losing my DLC or am I
screwed? Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

There's a couple of options for you.
It depends on whether you've created your own PS3 account or just used your brothers.
If you've created your own ps3 account (with store log in etc) and bought and downloaded the dlc with that account, then when you get another PS3, when you create an account use your existing details. This will allow you to re-download dlc.
Typically whenever you buy anything online you have a download limit of 5 time (typically). This is to account for changes in PS3 hardware.
If you HAVENT got your own account, then when you get your new ps3, get your brothers details and create a 2nd account with his details. You should be able to re-download the dlc in accordance with the above details. The only caveat is that on your new ps3 if you delete your brothers account you will lose the DLC entitlement.
hope this helps.
