I'm going to finally get a PS4, currently have a PS3 with one complete DA:I (disc) playthrough and another almost complete.  My saves get uploaded automatically to the PSN.  Is there any way I can import a PS3 save if I buy the PS4 version of DA:I?

The only game I know of that reads a save between different console generations is Destiny and I could be wrong, but I believe your characters are stored on the Destiny servers and not the PSN.

I was reading about this as I have my characters on the PS3 but the DA:I game for the ps4 ..if you have your PSN linked with EA Orgins or something like that it,k carry it over ?

I'm not positive ..sort of bummed I didn't carry my data over or look into it before I rushed to play the game lol ..oh well it'll give me a better replay I guess ?

Well I do have my Origins/EA account linked to the PSN and I have a Dragon Age Keep, I was just hoping to continue this current game instead of starting a brand new one. Not sure if I can do a third playthrough, doesn't seem like there's enough variation.  I'll contact EA.

Your DA:O and DA2 characters?  That definitely won't transfer on any platform, you need to complete the Dragon Age Keep online by signing in with your Origins account and then export it into your DA:I game.  There you can select your Warden and Hawke and your choices.  Be sure to export while you're in the Keep before you fire up your game, I forgot to do that step and was well into my second playthrough before I realized.  (I too rushed into playing without researching this on my first go).

Probably a silly suggestion (I don't have any PS) but can you use the Origin cloud save option from a PS3? If so, would it then load to a PS4?

I tried asking EA on their support page and I got no response.  I do have my saves on the cloud but I'm honestly not sure if it's Origin or PSN that keeps them.  I went ahead and ordered the PS4 disc (on sale) and my PS3 playthroughs are complete so I'll just start a new game.  If I decide that my PS4 version is my canon Inquisitor then I'll trade in the PS3 disc.
