I got all the keys and that quest went away, all I have now is The Tomb of Fairel and when I located it the dragon was asleep and I didn't bother her/him but the door won't open.  It says it's magically sealed so how do I open it?  Please, I have been going in circles for an hour.

I think you have to kill the dragon, but I'm not certain.  I know that when I got close my party members mentioned her and then she woke up

You do know have to kill the dragon, but loot the 5 keys, and hint toward the 5 tombs before opening the one guarded by the dragon.

I looted the keys, five of them but will kill the dragon and see if that works.  Thanks.

I've defeated the dragon, collected all 5 keys, and it's still telling me the door is magically sealed when I attempt to open the door.

Nevermind. I left and came back which seemed to reset one of the keys I had already acquired. Once I reacquired the last final fragment, the door was able to open.

Sorry for bumping this but I need help. I have collected all fragments and solved all the puzzles, killed the dragon and I still can't open the door. It says it magically sealed. I have tried restarting the game but it doesn't work. Help please

I never had this problem but i suggest doing what Hawkamania did: leave hissing wastes then go back to each puzzle location and try to see if there is a key in the chests.

Old thread I know but one does not have to kill the dragon. I have never ever killed that dragon in any of my playthroughs and the door has opened everytime just fine. So no, killing the dragon is definitely not necessary.
