Dear designers, if you realize your game engine has limitations, design around them

Just finished mopping up the Hinterlands in an attempt to level the rest of my party to my current level (18) and start the final mission and ran into quite a few annoyances.

(1) Yes, we can jump now. That's great. But do you really think your jumping implementation is precise enough that it would warrant platforming to get a shard in the Fereldan Frostback area? That wasn't really fun and on top of all the frustration you can actually get stuck there.

(2) Who decided to put a rift in a place where the demons spawn on a ledge above you? That would be fine if your tac cam would allow easy maneuvering of the targeting circle to tell the ranged party members to attack the spirits high above. But no. The tac cam doesn't allow it. So you have to wait until they get down and take the damage in the meantime.

(3) You must have noticed that some of the rogue's abilities (probably other "closing in on the enemy" abilities as well) do not work when the terrain isn't level enough. So there I come to another rift with fairly high level enemies and it's on a slope and there are a lot of boulders lying on the ground. Result: Flank attack and twin fangs is more or less useless since you miss each and every time.

Sorry for the rant. Feeling better now... :P
