To be honest, I've always found Bioware's enemy AI to be rather.... poor. Boss battles were more like tedious hour-long dances where I'm just taking down an HP bloated monstrosity.

I mean, I get that it's probably not a priority, but it would be something I enjoy and perhaps other people. Fighting against enemies whose animations are slower then ours and aren't the same creates too much of a jarring disparity for me. Seeing enemies not use the same skills as we do makes me feel too much like I'm playing god-like characters rather then a group of people who, while powerful (and by nature of the story special), are still mortal.

I want to see enemies think. I want to see there not be such a disparity between health (DAI is definitely better then DAII was).

I dunno, I'm a hard to please person when it comes to gameplay. I guess I never find it good enough. Still, I wish to see the ideas I'd floated in the past be used. Enemy phalanx formations with archers in the back then can only be taken apart through a very powerful attack... or Demons using magical attacks like we do (Firestorm, Winter's Grasp, etc.)

The concept of ‘boss’ is silly in its own right. You’ll never find realism there.

When enemies become stronger, they don’t grow in size or ability. They grow in number and coordination.
