No matter how hard I try I can't seem to stick with a character. I got a human mage all the way to Knight Enchanter and then realized Knight Enchanter isn't really my thing. Ever since then I would make a character play it for an hour or so, then I'd think how much cooler it would be if I was a different class, or better yet how much cooler I would look as a different race. I've haven't been able to get any really Dragon Age playing done for the past couple weeks and its really bugging me.
Any tips to cure this terrible disease?
My next test subjects are probably gonna be
1) Dwarf Warrior
2) Dwarf Rogue
3) Qunari Rogue
Any thoughts on those suggestions?
Thanks for taking the time to read about my stupid dilemma. XD
Need a cure for a deadly case of restartitis!

Play several alts simultaneously, that way you can experience everything but not lose your progress ![]()

For many years I *thought* I liked to play other races, weird classes and "unique" combinations in rpg games. I've come to realize this is just childhood fascination with fantasy stories and it /detracts/ quite a bit from my immersion! Simply because I can't identify with a Qunari or a dwarf or a mage. Not really. Not how they are rp'd in the game. So I've started playing as close to "me" in RL as possible and then be amazed and wondering and perplexed about all the weird stuff in the world, rather than part of it. It's helped me out a lot. I play human and non-magical. It's great!

Mages are stuck using non-melee staves in this game, right? Even as a Knight-Enchanter?
If so I guess I'm just going to stick with Warrior. I love my Melee Mage from DA:O, she was made of pure death for anyone that stood in her way. I could probably chop any warrior into itty bitty pieces with her sword before she would suffer any major damage.
