Currently on my second play through as a male Dwarf Rogue, named him Muradin. I intend to play as everything in time, male and female.

BTW arent elves supposed to be shorter than humans? Isabella commented on how lanky Fenris was in DA2, but every elf ive met so far is the same height he was.

I wasn't planning to, but I think I'll roll a dwarf within my next five PTs.

The Heroine of Ferelden was a dwarf, so it's pretty obvious that people play dwarves.

But how did she have a child with Morrigan? Mashing lady bits together, while hot, does not produce a child.

Magic - everything works with magic - even male human warriors as fereldan heroes.

I've completed Origins countless times (dozens, really). But I have never ever completed a dwarf play-through. I'd play them till Korcari Wilds and then I'd drop them, feeling all weird talking to tall people. In Inquisition though, I plan to play a dwarf at least once, after the elf and qunari playthrough though, which come after humans :P

I also play female dwarves...

I usually try to play a warrior, a rogue and a mage in Dragon Age.

In Origins, I started with a dual wielding male city elf warrior. I then played as a noble rogue female dwarf and finally, as a human mage (Amell).

Then in DA2, a mage came after my elf warrior, a warrior after my rogue dwarf and a rogue after my mage (cousins!).

So now, I started inquisition with a female dwarf... And it's fun!

Although I must admit that her boobs look weird in a certain romance cutscene...

I pretty much exclusively play dwarves and (now) qunari.  Dwarves are my go-to race in any setting where they are offered as an option.

According to this poll, which was posted here and on five other DA: I message boards, about 12% of players chose (or plan to choose) dwarf characters in DA: I.  It seems like they are not often people's first choice, but many people choose them for later playthroughs.

I have a female dwarf rogue playthrough planned but considering my completionist habit, it will take me a bit to get to her.

I have only once played a dwarf, in any game. Dwarf Noble rogue, then pickpocket everything that moves. Ended up having not enough gold to buy two of those 'awesome necklaces from Bohdan of which the name eludes me', didn't finish the run.

They're small. And yes, that's the only reason. You may proceed to call me a bigot.

Who wouldn't play dwarves? Dwarves are awesome!

If you don't mind half the cutscenes breaking a little.

Really - I thought that cutscenes accounted for Dwarf stature pretty well?

Since my warden was a CE and my Hawke was a human (duh) I picked a dwarf for my inquisitor, to keep things from feeling repetitive. Also, because a dwarf with special magic powers and able to physically enter the Fade seems more interesting than any other race doing the same, given the dwarves don't normally get to visit that place at all.

People in game losing their **** over dwarfy Herald is just a bonus :s

Playing dwarf right now. 2 handed bezerker type. Basing off a battlerager from RA salvatore books. The over the top combat really helps. Origins main playthrough was dwarf noble. Really
Outstanding backstory for origin dwarves.

Dai does a decent job with special dialogue for dwarves . Helps with the roleplaying

Currently on my second playthrough, playing a dwarf.  I'm enjoying it a lot more than I thought I would.

I usually don't for the same reason I don't play as a female. I just can't feel as immersed as I can with a male character.

But lately I've been thinking about it and it's getting me more and more excited to play as a dwarf. Even as I write this my want of playing a dwarven Inquisitor is growing by the minute. I was thinking elven mage for my next run but now, I'm thinking dwarven sword & board after my 2-handed warrior, Koslun Adaar.

Gonna be "Harding In Hightown" in hopes of future DLC expanding the Romance with our adorable dwarven lead scout.

Seriously. She's awesome.

Same thing happens with a Qunari. They did a great job implementing them storywise but the technicallities are a bit iffy sometimes.

I've never played a dwarf. If it wasn't for the fact I was forced into being Dalish I would play an elf. So only human and qunari for me.
