My next Inquisitor is a female dwarven Rogue named Thrúd.

My first Inquisitor was a female dwarf, and she'll probably be my favorite.

I created a dwarf once in DAI but he looked so out of place that I just scrapped him for another elf. One of these days, I'll finally complete a DA game with a dwarf, but it ain't gonna be anytime soon.

I played a lot of dwarves in DA:O, and I've already created two for Inquisition. Haven't played them yet, though.
They're easily my favourites within the Dragon Age setting.

Definitely going to have at least 2 Dwarf playthroughs, because Dwarves rock unlike those chumps the humans.

Never did and never will be, in any game. Or Halflings. Or *shudders* gnomes...
I am also totally against the blasted "Campaign for Equal Heights" ... little buggers should all take their chainmail and axes and go to the place where the sun doesn't shine! (Which is located in the kingdom of Lancre, in the town called Slice - just for your information)

I've never played a dwarf. If it wasn't for the fact I was forced into being Dalish I would play an elf. So only human and qunari for me.
I found you could sufficiently "meh dalish" for me to tolerate it pretty well.
My main issue with dwarves is the neck craning though. That drives me bananas.

I love to play dwarves, I just haven't played one through to the end of Inquisition yet. I kind of wanted to see some of the romances first, and my dwarves never do romance. Plus, I didn't like the female VA so I dropped my first warrior because of it.
Dwarf Champion is next on my list once I finish my current game.

Naturally they look a little small and strange looking when they walk.

My first playhtrough was a female dwarf templar, want to make a male dwarf next tried it but can't get the male dwarf faces to look decent all the lips are like bad lip surgery was done so could use advice on how to get the slider to fix that. Dorian needs his dwarf lover.

Finishing up my dwarf playthrough right now. She was my first inquisitor, and I imported my dwarf warden (my first DA character ever) for her. Dorfs rock.

I for one do not care one bit about the relative size of my character in a RPG.
Go dwarves !

I played every race. I think I love my dwarf most though, which is unusual as I favor elves usually.
Elves and dwarves tend to be my 1st and 2nd picks, respectively. Dragon Age has it so the little ones leapfrog everyone while elves plummet down to last place.

loved dwarves since LotR and felt no one takes them seriously lore wise or not. It is overwhelmingly frustrating that Elves have tons of positive take aways from Tolkien and dwarves are characterized by 1 liners legolas once said in frustration. Really, I loved Gimli, and whenever I can play a dwarf I do.

I just started a female dwarf character. Has anyone else given their dwarven lady a beard? Right now I feel like the option was added solely for my benefit (which admittedly does make me feel rather special...)
I've also got two dwarven runs of DA:O, including my first playthrough.

What about Oakenshield from the Hobbit movies? He seems like a good hero
Yeah, waking a dragon and leaving it up to the neighbouring townspeople to find a way to kill him is totally heroic.

Dwarves would been a lot more attractive if it had been one from Orzammar. The surface dwarves do have a culture of their own as well but we never actually seen much of the merchant guild or the surface dwarf carta so a surface dwarf that been born on the surface just feels like a shorter human. Considering most of them given up on the stone as well they don't have much to unite them that we actually seen.
We do hear a lot about how all the merchant families and those who keep in contact/trade or seem to live their own version of the Orzammar caste system but again... heard not seen. Considering the Inquisitor has no origin story we get to play I just don't find them as attractive in this game even if dwarves were my favorite race in Origins.
