I've been thinking about what Solas said about the fade and if peoples beliefs shape the fade then could that mean that the Chantery accidentally wished the Maker away?

I've been thinking about Solus and I don't think he betrayed us to help Corypheus. I think he was using him to get back into the Black city himself! The look in his eyes when he saw it in Nightmares realm said it all on my second playthrough. It makes me wonder if the old Elven gods were the original owners and that is why the Black City was empty when Corypheus arrived. The Dread Wolf and Mythal are trying to return home.
Also if the Fade changes to reflect our hopes, dreams and nightmares could the Chantery wish the maker back?
