So I have now beat the game and now movie on to my "Cannon" inquisitor. You see all the Dragon Ages I have played had a...Scout character if you will. I try to beat the game as fast as I can just to see what I would want to really play due to the storyline and what people I want to be friends with. So I now beat the game and can move on to my main guy. .....However I have hit a snag that the other 2 games did not have...I now have too many different ideas of who to play. I beat the game with a human male warrior, sword and shield, and romanced Scribbles. So now I am considering playing

Human or elf rogue 2 dagger M/F-Throw myself into the intrigue side like Lilianna , feel like an assassin for the inquisition

Human or Qunari Male warrior 2 handed- Play like a Lord from Game of Thrones

Female mage- Always fun and it saves me from bringing any of the 3 mage companions.

A dwarf Any class- I have never played a Dwarf and with the hobbit movie just out I am feeling my Durin come out lol

Did any of you guys play any of these roles and if so, did you have fun playing it? I figure there has to be things that effect the story if you play as something different

I played a Qunari mage. He was an easygoing sarcastic nutjob is the best way to describe him. He was part of a mercenary company, and influenced him to being really straightforward. He cares nothing for politics, the Game, or winning people over. Get the job done and go home and break out the casks is his motto. But power went to his head as the game went on, and he became a Knight-Enchanter just so he could rush in to the front lines and crack skulls.

He alienated quite a few members of the his inner circle because of it. It was a fun playthrough.

Plus, Qunari Inquisitor can have some great dialogue with Bull.

it's not a matter of reaching your target, it's more about the fact that you're such a huge guy and the knives look so tiny. The dwarves weapons look like short swords then the daggers still look long on a human but when a Qunari is wielding them they look so little

What are you talking about? Spike the stealthy, artifice Qunari and his tiny knives is hilarious!

IMO Human Mage or Elf Female Mage are the best way to go if you want the most 'bang for buck'. Otherwise just play what feels right to you.
