Hi everybody,
i just recently got into Mass Effect 2 and i really wanted to continue my femshep for femaliens char from part 1. So i noticed that i could not really date anyone (Kelly is no Alien, and Liara is not there, except for Shadow Broker). I wanted Tali. I read she is male shep only, but of course there are workarounds.
I got Gibbed's Save editor, and every time i talked to Miranda or Tali i changed to male before. It seemed to work great, but the "lock in" dialogue glitches for me and i can not continue. For example:
Miranda "I suppose we should talk", and then she pops out of her chair and i get booted out of dialogue. She stands there and when i talk to her again it is the same option, same result. Also when i walk away while she is standing next to the chair (instead of sitting after i end the dialogue the normal "Talk to you later way"), after a few steps the screen becomes black and i have to exit the game (like below with Tali).
Tali, when she beckons me to the back of the ship (i have been thinking about you), then it just goes black, i can not talk about anything and actually have to exit the game...
Something fails to trigger the correct dialogue sequence, i guess, so how does this work?
For the record, i play with Origin, but also with Texmod at times (but have tried it without Texmod too).
Thanks for all suggestions, i am just so disappointed in Bioware for making this so difficult. Why nor allow all for all? Those who do not like it, simply can ignore the topics, no harm done, but it would expand the games for so many i believe.
