What's a u bow?

I love me my Bow of Cruel Redemption for all purpose use, but Longbow of the Griffon is crazy fun for me with my Hunter.

Longbow of the Griffon! If enemies get close, you do so much damage. If enemies are far away, you also do so much damage. It's one of my only good uniques, I can literally carry a threatening game with it.

I still love my Bow of Cruel Redemption and I have Griffon and Punched. Depending on situation. The 1% heal on hit is awesome with Leaping Shot and Explosive and piercing Long Shot? Healing bonus or Health belt with Heal on kill rings to stack?

It's just great to hear one guy say "The archer's almost dead, somebody help him!" and another follow a couple seconds later with "Um, he seems fine to me.".

That's probably happened a grand total of 1 time in this history of ever.

 

If you're hearing it more often than that get out of Routine and join the big leagues where if you take more than one hit... you ain't legit.

I filled up most of the Archer's Evasion skill tree because Longbow of the Griffon draws SO MUCH AGGRO and as a pleasant surprise I realized if you put enemies to sleep, or if you flank them you can walk up point blank range and shoot 3 arrows into their back.

 

It's hard to pull off, but if you do it's OP as hell.

Or you could play as the hunter, who has higher damage output than archer in close range.  Stealth damage bonus + Auto-stealth crit + triple shot = lots of pain. Combine with leaping shot and rolling draw and damage output is absolutely insane.
