In this instance, the warden did not do the DR even though he had romanced Morrigan. She then has a non-OGB. The warden killed the archdemon and died in the process. 

 

So, how would it have worked for her to do the DR with the warden if she was already pregnant with their son? Story-wise, if they do the DR, then I guess the story is that she wasn't pregnant before they did it. But since they didn't do the DR, it turns out she was pregnant anyway. Would the Warden have been saved if they did the DR even though she was already pregnant with his child?

I wonder if you can do something like this with Loghain if he is the father of Kieran.

 

In reference to the human Kieran... I'm going to say magic. Because. Magic. Also Flemeth.

 

In seriousness, a Kieran who doesn't have the Soul of the Archdemon was probably conceived not long before the final battle. I'm going to guess there was more to the ritual then 'have sex with Morrigan'. Maybe she drank a potion or conducted a spell.

This just reminds me how sucky it is female wardens couldent have OGB..

Ah, so this wasn't cut from the game after all? I know the Morrigan/Alistair encounter didn't appear in-game for everyone, even if they done the winter palace ball before the abyss quest.

I have to ask if someone knows. Does Morrigan acknowledge that Kieran is Warden's son(did the ritual) even if he romanced Leliana? That was my imported world state and I did not hear a thing. Always wondered about that.

P.S. And is there any sort of interaction between Leliana and Morrigan?
