Yeah, I normally like what Panda has to say, too.

It's not like I have the right to not like the options given to me or anything.

Everyone has right to not like LI's but their reasoning better not be: "Men don't like women that..." or "Woman should have/shouldn't have..". There is too much those threads around.

I always add my own "in my opinion" addendum when I read those types of statements, because everyone makes them about every topic and it's hoesntly just a colloquialism far more often than it is anything malicious. I'm not going to waste my time getting worked up over someone else's opinion just because they didn't preface every sentence with "in my opinion" or "I think."

I know, but make morrigan and leliana romance options is a bad idea for that, because then people are going to ask for other characters that are not romance option to be one.

Well, that wasn't the idea behind this thread, either. Original idea was to add new content for the already existing romances, to expand those and nothing else. I know some want to romance those characters they currently can't but it's not what I wan't, either, so I agree with you in that. Though, in ME3 BW did gave those non-romanceable characters that "one night only" option, so who knows.

In this particular case adding those are pretty much must cause otherwise they sound pretty sexist. Like this video of male gamer listing things what makes DAI females ugly including scars, short hair, wide jaw, moles and birthmarks, button noses etc. That's why some straight male gamers they really need to widen their horizons, these players can't always get Leliana as LI and woman that doesn't have anything from hundred things they don't like woman to have..

If they want to add more romance content i'm totally ok with that, plus they can add more things so is not only a romance dlc.

Yes but i don't know if that count as a romance (plus i feel like james didn't feel comfortable at all), but at least is something, i guess.

No, it definitely doesn't count as a romance and I personally never used those one night only options.

I'm going to have to disagree with you here. No one "has" to be attracted to anything they don't want to, and it is definitely not sexist to not be attracted to some things.

Agreed.  If the drunken one stand with Vega counts as a romance, we'd have to count the Javik hookup.

It's sexist to claim that women should be certain way cause you aren't attracted to certain attributes. Everyone can't be attracted to same thing but people should stop claiming characters or people are ugly or wrong because they don't like some attribute they have. More less to claim it's universal truth.

Okay I can't help it since it's the obvious answer (and I'm usually never this early to a thread)... if you want to romance Morrigan and/or Leliana why not play DA:O? It's actually a really good game too IMHO.  ;)

But I may prefer the older Morrigan or Leliana version and wanting to tend their wounds that their past self don't have ? :D

Single mother Morrigan who lost her love, she could be interesting to romance~

I just don't agree that most people are proclaiming it as a universal truth.

To keep the thread more on topic, I'd pay (after they fix PS3 bugs and clitches or after I buy PS4 which can be year or so..) for it if I like the character enough. What I want would be straight male or lesbian LI for my qunari and dwarf ladies since I'm not very into the one's we got at the moment. I'm completely happy with Dorian, Cullen and Cass though for my quizzys who actually can romance them.

I think Bioware should stop wish-fulfilling and make some actual good DLCs now.

Leliana always had old wounds... you'd have to meet her as... nope she's always had wounds.  :P

Morrigan... may not be a single mother in some play throughs... at which point you tell me she always is in your games so yeah, harder to argue... although she seems softer/gentler in my experience of her this time round but let's face it she was never in love with Alistair and totally unavailable to female wardens. Is she different on a play through with a lost warden romance?

I just got the game and agree with the original poster, something just isn't right here.

I'm all for romance DLC's and would buy them in reasonable price if I like the character.

I also think these straight male gamers need to widen their horizons..

That's like saying a gay person who likes a certain kind of man sucks for not liking all types of men equally.

Do you like a certain kind of person? Are there traits you're into? Maybe you too should "widen your horizons".

Romanced Cassandra and liked it. Though I wish there had been more scenes where you can talk and grow the relationship. Something to develop both characters through interactive dialogue.

That said, I realize Cassandra is an acquired taste. Cassandra is around 40 years old in Inquisition. That isn't exactly your typical RPG romance. My Inquisitor is about 44, so it works for him. But there should have been some younger romance options as well.

My position has always been that there should be a custom romance character creator. The background would also be chosen by the player. That way players can customize their love interest's appearance, personality, and beliefs, and have many backgrounds to choose from.

Cass is smexy. I want more Cass, and would love a DLC that gives it to me. This DLC would be a reason to put the disc back into my PS4, well if I can ever get it back from my cousin. He's having a blast with Inquisition

What kind of incredibly stupid logic is that?

What exactly is it that you think people base attractiveness on in the first place? The color of someone's aura?

I'd rather stay narrow minded, i'm not gay so i like to play straight romances.

Do gay people role play straight romances? if not are they narrow minded too?

If gamer refuses to romance character cause some trait they dislike it's not developers fault or some kind of feminist or gay agend. It's gamers own choice and fault to not have romance in the game then.

What becomes to me, I don't have certain type of man I like. It's more of how everything plays out and works together from looks to personality than any kind of individual traits anyways. And game-wise it matters even less, since I'm not playing as myself anyways and I also romance female characters who I wouldn't personally be attracted to.

Personality.

One traits hardly matters at all when it comes to attraction.

You like to think that immune to the stuff, oh yeah...

It's closer to the truth to say you can't get enough...
