Colliding with other players ALL the time whilst running was annoying before...but now it is irritating as all hell. nothing i love more than trying to get next to a teammate but instead get stuck to them like they had flypaper on them.

 

 

um...yeah. thats my beef.

It does make the game fun when a superhero archer decides that running ahead and blocking a doorway whilst dropping his aoe on the next spawn is a great idea; especially when you're the templar trying to get your rather bulky backside past him to save his squishy behind.

I say remove it.  Let us pass through each other.

 

Also, similar with dropping spells.  Apparently they (or at least some) are objects and cannot move through other map objects.  Pretty annoying when you want to cast barrier on your tank/s but get delayed because a crate or crytal is in the way, which yo uhave to navigate around.

 

Same with dying and being in the fade.  I'm thinking it's a ghost and should at least be able to pass through objects (just not the ground for obvious reasons).

Why doesn't it work like SP? You can't just pass through companions but you don't ricochet off them like a f*cking bumper car either. Everything works so well in single player. I don't get how so many things that are just fine in SP are completely broken in MP.

Yeah I agree, if theres more than warrior warrior/close range fighting class in a group half the time we just push each other away from the enemy, and also while trying to simply run from point A to point B anyone within literally 8 game meters from me just makes me crash into a wall.

Agreed, I hate getting stuck on other players especially those silly rouges who try to be like my legionnaire and get all into the enemies business. They mess with my chi man!

This has to be one of the most infuriating things about playing multiplayer. Kinda gives me the impression that very little play testing was done that focused on how the game mode actually *felt* to play.

Bumping into ppl makes me itchy in ME3MP already - in DAMP it's worse by a magnitude.

Definitely my biggest pet peeve about Multiplayer mode so far. I sometimes feel like I spend more time worrying about not running into my teammates than I do about killing the enemies. Just reducing the hitbox size would go a long way I think.

I have great idea!

 

Until this gets fixed - how about I get a horn to announce my traffic. So I can "meepmeep" and pass everbody unhindered. Teammates that stand in the way are flung away across the room.

For the Katari a 5-horn assembly like trains use, please. No ability slot use and animation - trains don't stop for honking.

Since bioware will prob never fix this, you should just get used to playing all ranged classes with at most one non AW melee if you want all chest rooms.

Damn, this is weird, I never had much trouble with this. Only times I actually had some frustrating moments with collision it was more of a latency related issue than actual collision.

 

I wouldn't remove collision though, that just looks like crap.

It has been an issue.  I don't remember this being a problem in ME3MP.  Despite ME3 being a purely last gen game, the MP ran smoother.

What I hate even more is the characters shuffling around when being in an enclosed space. Its like throwing a bunch of opposing magnets into a blender. Its hilarious for 5 minutes but quickly becomes annoying for the rest of the game. Can't they just stand still for 5 seconds?

playing as a melee feels about useless.  super handcuffed.  trying to get past 3 ranged individuals that are standing like a wall.  by the time you fight your way past them the fight is over. 

 

when more fun when that wall is created in a door way.

If this were a competitive PvP game I could understand. But why, OH WHY, developers insist on instituting friendly collision in single player or co-op games is beyond my understanding. There's no legit reason for it.

Charging bull lets you run through everything. Low CD as well.

The crappier the hosts connection is, the more you feel how awkward the collision is... if the connection to host is good, i barely even notice it... if it's bad... it infuriates me!

Thanks for the immersion Bioware.  When the group all tries to go through the doorway at the same time feels just like when I try to get on the subway in NYC during rush hour.
